Persuasive Speech On School Uniforms

In American education, being in a gang and stereotypes plays a major role in the way people view education. Through loyalty to their gang, poverty, and corrupt legal systems, educational systems don 't know how to handle these types of people going through these problems. In many instances, people from rival gangs are in the same class or school. There will be no learning for them because it is engraved in their head that “I need to ‘pop’ this guy because his gang killed someone in my gang.”

Since all the students in the school have to wear the same clothes, wealthier kids can not show off their clothes because they would be required to wear the school uniform. It is harder for gang members to identify themselves if they can not wear a shirt with a gang sign or a certain color shirt. Students would most likely show more school spirit and school pride. While a class is on a school trip the uniforms could help teachers identify their students quicker.

Is it gang violence , or are people just sick? Well the it all of the above. Why do people shoot at school? The answer is simple revenge.

Gangs have their own value systems and often involve many forms of violence as a way of handling situations. Within this subculture, the behaviors of those in this group can be justified and explained as a part of the culture itself. Although, they may have values and rules similar to those of mainstream society, they are slightly different. When talking about gangs it is also imperative to mention delinquency. Delinquency and gangs go hand in hand because that is what this subculture values.
