In the past week, Vice President Joe Biden announced he was not going to run for president this election cycle. Peter Baker and Maggie Habermann for the New York Times in Joe Biden Concludes There’s No Time for a 2016 Run. The Vice President put down any claims of a potential presidential run. He gave the address at the White House Rose Garden with President Obama, his wife, and reporters surrounding him. Though he did have time to still file, his reason was that there really was no time to develop as the other candidates had. This event is important due to the fact that Biden, during the speculation time, was considered a possible obstacle in current frontrunner, Hillary Clinton’s path. Because of this possible change alone in the landscape of the presidential campaign, caused guessing on news …show more content…
Biden had previously ran in 1988, with general appeal across the board, an aspect hard to find in candidates today. Across the country, miniature campaign fundraisers to boost a possible run from him have been noted. This chance of him joining the race has been, as mention before, marked as an obstacle set in Clinton’s path. While Clinton has made no jabs at him, Biden did take his time to mark flaws of her rhetoric on republicans. Even though Joe Biden is not running, his impact is still evident. As a more powerful, older politician, he will have more power with voters as they are more exposed to him. Included with the platform he to make his announcements, he had thousands listening to his message and criticism of the candidates. These flaws pointed out might lead to a change in Clinton and other Democrat’s platform or maybe smaller, a plank. It may become evident in debate, where we could see her expose a softer idea of republicans. An even longer impact is found in how democratic candidates have less competition in regards to the final nomination for party choice comes

Mark Everson's Candidacy When one thinks about a United States President, one finds themselves thinking righteous and exceptional qualities that they have exuded and conducted throughout their time. However, when one is presented with the Republican presidential candidate known as Mark Everson, there aren't such qualities present. Everson is not a likely presidential candidate to find himself in the White House due to: not having a strategic campaign, having a scandalous past, and because of his current position in last place as the eighteenth Republican candidate. If you’ve heard anything about Everson, which you probably haven't because, prior to being a presidential candidate, no one did for that matter, it's about the ridiculous promises he plans to enact if he becomes President. He states that he will initiate "constructive solutions our country needs" such as; reforming the tax policy, serving a single term, and bringing back the military draft (Bumps).
Barack Hussein Obama is an American politician who served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. He is the first African American to have served as president, as well as the first born outside the contiguous United States. In this speech he gave at the Democratic National Convention he reflects on his upbringing and his beating the odds with faith in the possibilities. His speech concerned the unnecessary and artificial divides in American politics and culture, emphasizing the importance of unity in our country, not just red states for Republicans and blue states for Democrats. His audience was community.

When talking about political parties they were formed long time ago since the beginning of our nation. Defining a Political Party, America counts with two major parties nowadays. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party.
Many of the ideas Bill Clinton had accomplished were small, yet somewhat affective. Clinton had also passed welfare reform for providing health coverage for millions of children. This also helped in aiding the poor and
The main and most significant problem during the presidential election was that the highest votes became president, but the second most votes in the election became vice-president. This led to having two different political parties as president and vice-president. Having two different parties be vice-president and president was not a good idea and all in all not good for the nation. Now, to fix this issue, the vice-president is elected separately from the election to be president. During this time, another problem was being faced; there was no obvious or for sure procedure for selecting any candidates for president or vice-president.
Eventually, Clinton saw the violent and tragic effects of the Vietnamese War and decided to switch to the Democratic party for more anti-war views (Harris). That was when she met with more women and spoke with them about women’s rights, sharing their viewpoints and supporting the Women’s Rights Movement (Melick). At Yale University, she met, fell in love with, and married Bill Clinton. Eventually, he was elected President of the United States of America, which made Clinton First Lady. In the most powerful female position in America (and arguably the world), she made it her goal to give women equal
Unlike William Jennings Bryan, William McKinley welcomes visitors into his home. In contrast the Republican campaign had over 3.5 million dollars donated. In November, Republican McKinley won the election. I believe the traditional ”front porch campaign” propaganda led to his success.

Another Name on The Ballot? : Cheney vs. A Heartbeat Away In our country, the vice presidency has been a position of mockery and criticism. Many sources call it the butt of jokes in the world of politics, with former Vice President John Garner saying “the job wasn 't worth a bucket of warm urine” (A Heartbeat Away) .
John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Junior’s, speech at his inaugural address in 1961 is undeniably a masterpiece of the persuasive arts. Although the speech is short as such speeches go, and although its main persuasive device is pathos alone, the masterful skill with which Kennedy’s speech is written makes it one of the most moving and effective political speeches to date. Kennedy’s vivid use of diction and metaphor, as well as his extremely memorable syntax, are particularly strong and successful. Every intelligent debater, speech-writer, and generally argumentative person knows that there are three main techniques which can be used to manipulate an audience and engage them in the speaker’s topic and purpose: ethos, logos, and pathos.
