It was mostly a country of production, gaining most of their wealth from manufacturing and trading goods. Much like China, Americans were the producers of the 19th century. Moreover, America practiced what is known as isolationism—especially during the time of war; but as the U.S. grew in the 20th century, so did there want to expand their messages of liberty, economy, and government; which it did effectively through the means of war.

Communism, an ideology developed by Karl Marx, was a key component in the revolution of USSR. Marx envisioned a society where the lower and upper classes were equal in regards to property and rights. During the Russian Revolution, an extensive amount of propaganda was used to promote communism. Although propaganda was used in various forms, the posters made a huge impact in convincing the population of Soviet Union to support the communist cause. Over the course of human history the world has experienced some absolutely terrible ideas such as Nazism, Slavery and the list goes on. I'm just confused as to why many people don't think that communism is a terrible idea. In the span of 100 years Communism killed over 100 million people and it is still happening today. Today Socialism is an idea that many people are wanting which is basically the same thing as communism.
