I choose to use the symbol I made for America. It is to show that America has its good sides and its bad sides. There are several meanings to the symbol. Life is never easy for us. There are times when we are in our darkest days, and in our lightest days. This symbol shows the battle we go through every day that is good and evil. These could also stand for not only our country, but others as well. I hope your eyes are opened to what these symbol mean to me about America.
Let's start with the heart with the devil horns in the top, left corner. This symbolizes some of the evil that is around and in us. It also symbolizes corruption and war in this world. There are people that use power, greed, and war for profit. The horns symbolizes power and dignity of the divinity. The horn is associated with madness and rage. The color red is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, and power. Red can also stand for mad or angry.
Second, the heart with wings in the top, right corner. This symbolizes that there is good and light around us and within ourselves. It can be a symbol for a pure heart, love, charity, mercy, and freedom. The angel wings can be seen as a symbol of God's presence and as an expression of one's faith. The wings can be a sign of compassion, love, light, and hope. The

To me it symbolizes that there is a battle with in our hearts. It also shows that even if we are able to hide our feelings and how much we are hurt. They are reflected on our heart where you can not hide it. The matches make shows that we can move forward, we can face them, and that the people who matter except it. The devil and angel wings represent the good and the evil within our hearts. Whether we would like to believe that someone is good doesn’t mean that they don’t hate, and it doesn’t mean that because you're bad that you're not good at heart. We constantly hide behind a mask each day, but it's only in our heart that we know the
I would of thought that it was like "lets go pump some iron" but every symbol has a different meaning. In Romero's mural "Going to the Olympic,1984", he might feel about our cities car culture is that its an important part of our lives in L.A. thats why he made the cars colorful and put hearts on top of them. the artist choice of color sets the mood of the picture in Los Angeles because it was a vibrant image and when people are driving on the freeway they get bored so when you see it i think that people will get in a better mood. the mural makes you think a lot of why he choose those colors and why those shapes.
It is a mass of the collected gray areas of, “What could this be?” Foster asserts that it is impossible to pin down a single meaning for a given symbol; this is true even in clear-cut cases, though meaning can be very similar from case to case. Symbolism must not be confused with allegory. Allegories are meant to convey one direct message. Allegories are there to lead you to one sentient thought at its end.
The artists Alaa Awad and Ammar Abo Bakr looked to ancient Egypt for iconographic inspiration. They have a rich history to draw from due to the many traditions that have existed in Egypt over the years; pharonic, Coptic, Muslim, etc. They want their art to represent the unity the people are experiencing in mourning for their martyrs. As a result of that desire the artists use many elements from the traditions’ varying iconographic and visual programs. In the case of Mina Daniel and others we see them represented with wings.
Three symbols stand out and create an allegory. The Scarecrow, The Lion, and the Tin Woodman represents three symbols that intertwine together to represent the political era during the 19th century. The first symbol in the The Wizard of Oz represents the Scarecrow. The Scarecrow hung on a post in a great big cornfield.
These symbols represent what happens to each character in the second book in the Maximum Ride series, called School's Out-Forever. The wings symbolize that the seven kids, Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel, are avian-human hybrids. The earth symbolizes that Max is supposed to save the world. The scratch marks show that Fang will fight, even when his life is at stake, in order to save his brothers and sisters. The two rings represent when Iggy found his real parents.
Symbolism of birds and water represents
I chose this symbol because it fits the theme by a real life situation that creates a metaphor for Titus and Violet’s relationship. Also, this symbol is adjusted into a significant part of the novel. The book, Feed, makes some connections towards real life situations. I learned that you could randomly meet a person who could turn your life around positively.
To me, the many different colors are visualized as many different plots of land. At the top the blue lines are a river, which was thought of as an obstacle in earlier times. Rivers were and still are barriers as well as dangerous places. The river is a symbol of a problem in my life. When I come upon a river, I search for the best way to cross it.
To give some meaning to the symbols, the ear of corn represents the fundamental crop in the United States, which is grown everywhere. This is referring to the FFA as an organization that is united as one and works together as a team. The rising sun is symbolic of a new day that brings new opportunities. The plow represents the labor that students undergo as they make accomplishments. The eagle is the national symbol that represents the freedom our nation has to offer and the national scope of the organization (“AgEd Library”).
This symbol is one of the most important in the book because Fitzgerald’s use of linking religion to the adultery and illegal behavior of the characters shows how much the behavior affects them and that if possibly they are more religious or faithful, the events could have been
In this section, the right side is colored blue and the left colored red, while the two sides are divided by a white lightning bolt. It is a distinct image that is widely recognized for its relation to the Grateful Dead. The band has other symbols as well. They include a skull and roses, dancing bears, an Uncle Sam skeleton, dancing terrapins, and a jester. These images can be seen in a large amount of the fan art that has been submitted and is often accompanied by song lyrics or larger images.
This is ironic, since a huge topic in this short story is about the devil, and death. “They went up through the maze of parked and cruising cars to the bright lit, fly-infested restaurant, their faces pleased and expectant as if they were entering a sacred building that loomed up out of the night to give them what haven and blessing they yearned for. They listened to the music that made everything so good. The music was always in the background, like music at a church service” (Oates). These symbols contain several ideas.
That directly translated into Mystic Insignia of a Klansman. The KKK symbol was a Red, Black, and white cross. KKK’s background of the symbol was a red circle then a cross on top and a red blood drop in the middle. The blood drop in the middle is to represent a shield of protection of the white race.
While authors use symbols in their novels to help convey a message to their readers, people and organizations do the same in society today. Big organizations like the government try to portray their power and military strength, though sometimes they are just trying to portray a false sense of
The other symbol is the next part of the previous one I wrote which is “I’m meaner than my demons, I’m bigger than these bones”, the singer tries to convince herself that she can indeed defeat her inner demons, with this she compares herself to madness, which is why she calls herself a demon, as big as the demon can be, she will always be a harsher and meaner side. But as the song goes she loses this, losing control of her emotions. While this song is bursting with metaphors I shall only explain three at most. One of these metaphors is: “they send me away to find them a fortune, a chest filled with diamonds and
