Ted Bundy is one of the most notorious serial killers in US history. As written in the Ted Bundy Biography, Ted was raised in a normal household but had a chilling addiction as a child. He graduated high school and went on to attend the University of Washington. While at college he met and fell in love with a beautiful girl who came from wealth in California. They went through a breakup and he was devastated (insert here biography). Many of his victims closely resembled his former college girlfriend. According to the editors from Biography.com, in 1974 women started going missing. Word got out that these women were often seen hanging around a man named Ted who had dark hair and dark features before their disappearance. He would wear a cast on the University campus and pretend to drop his books so women would want to help him and then he would bait them into his car. He would then torture them and kill them. When he moved to Utah to go law school he was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and arrested. Carol Daronch was lucky to be one of the few women to escape from Bundy. He received a on to fifteen year jail sentence in that case. Shortly after, he was prosecuted for the murder of another young women. During the trial where he was representing himself, he jumped out of a window of the courthouse and was able to escape but was found 8 days later.
Bundy was quite the escape artist. He was able to escape from custody again in 1977 and made his way to Florida. It was in Florida that he went into the Chi Omega Sorority house located at Florida State and killed two women and hurt two others. He was pulled over in February of 1978 and was taken to prison. Across several states in the 1970s he raped and murdered many young women. Officially, he was connected to 36 murders but some believe he committed more than 100. Bundy was born to an unwed 22 year old mother with extremely religious parents.
He became fascinated with knives when he was at a very young age. Whenever he got older he killed several young women in many different states here is list a list of all of the states: 11 women in Washington, 8 in Utah, 3 in Colorado, 3 in Florida, 2 in Oregon, 2 in Idaho, and 1 in California. He tried to kill most of them with a metal rod. Some of the only positive things that Ted Bundy did was that he rescued a 3 year old boy that had wandered away from his parents and fell in Green Lake, located in Seattle, worked for a suicide hotline, and helped stop the Green River Killer. He contacted detective Robert D. Keppel while he was one death row, helping the detective learn how serial killers think, which later allowed Keppel to bring the Green River Killer to justice.

The Zodiac Killer was a famous serial killer. The difference between the Zodiac killer and other serial killers was that he would taunt the police publicly by writing letters to numerous local newspapers. Police link him to at least five murders between 1968 and 1969, and possibly more. The zodiac killer had no specific M.O which made it difficult for law enforcement to narrow down a suspect. To this day, police and investigators have never arrested the suspect whom he named himself the Zodiac Killer.

In fact not long after he got out of prison for killing his mother he then tried to abduct three girls and did not get away with it. He was caught and sentenced to three and a half years for the crime and had to serve the whole sentence. After he got out of prison he then moved to Pennsylvania where he married his cousins' ex-wife and worked at a mushroom farm. It is said that he started his killings sporadically over there while working at the farm up until he was accused of molesting his wife's daughters from her previous husband. Though he did end up admitting to molesting the girls he then started drifting throughout the southern part of the USA and committed various killings along the way that involved torcher rape and cannibalism.
Three years afterward he was released on parole, and he began drifting between cities. Carroll again tried to strangle two more women, yet both victims were able to escape. Carroll ended up confessing to police in Reno, Nevada about his urges to strangle women and was charged with disorderly conduct.
Ted’s violent side was thought to be inherited from his grandfather who had allegedly raped and abused Ted’s mother. This lead many to believe that Ted’s grandfather was actually his father. Ted in his early life also believed this, therefore he became a role model for Ted which shows why Ted would eventually carry this violent side in his life. Ted’s biological father was never known. This meant that she dated a string of men and one of these men became her husband and was a major influence on Ted and he lead him to change his name to Ted Bundy.

At the beginning of his rampage, Bundy would sneak into the victims house in the middle of the night, violently attack them while they were sleeping with a blunt object and then Bundy would usually sexually assault them.

During this time a man, a psychopath really, was terrorizing the people with his deranged antics. This man was, and still is, one of the most well known and dangerous serial killers that the United States has ever produced.
