However, the way the glass evidence at the crime scene was documented, collected, and preserved absolutely would have had an impact on the examination results at the lab. The glass evidence was mishandled as it was reportedly transferred from an envelope to a plastic bag during the investigation, which could have resulted in further loss or contamination of the evidence. Overall, the mishandling of significant evidence compromised the reliability and admissibility in court. Again, this example of mishandling of evidence posed as another contention point within the case and resulted in much

First is that an intruder broke into their home, wrote the note, and killed JonBenét. Next is the mother Patsy, who might have had a motive of jealousy from the attention her daughter received, and thus killed her and had John help cover it up. Lastly, Burke may have unintentionally murdered his sister by hitting her with a flashlight after she took his food and ran, but John and Patsy staged it to be as if someone else had kidnapped and murdered her. If the crime scene had not been contaminated, if family and friends spoke to the police further, and if Burke would have spoken in depth about his childhood relationship with his sister – the investigation may have had further evidence to go upon. Nonetheless, the Boulder County attorney declared on October 13th, 1999 that there was not enough sufficient evidence to declare anyone as the culprit.
The initial investigation was extensive, however, the killer was not found. Today, the world still doesn’t know who had killed Jonbenét Ramsey or why. The DNA was submitted to the FBI’s CODIS system, which contains DNA from convicted felons and sex offenders(Crime Museum, LLC).”

For years, the murder of JonBenet Ramsey has gone unsolved. Many people were pulled as possible suspects. Her parents, neighbors, and even a possible unknown intruder. JonBenet brought life into many things and loved nature and math, but her death didn't add up. To begin, Michael Newton, holder of a doctorate in counseling psychology, acknowledges the three-page ransom note: “No family member

Specifically, many people believe Burke Ramsey was responsible for the murder of JonBenet and the Ramsey parents covered it up. This essay will highlight the evidence behind their alleged involvement. To understand how the Ramseys allegedly killed JonBenet, it's important to know what happened to her and the hours leading up to her disappearance. The autopsy revealed JonBenét was strangled with a “garrote made from a tweed cord” (####). Also, JonBenét had a fractured skull which the Medical Examiner believed a broken paintbrush handle was the item that caused the injury. The garrote was tied in a manner where the person who did so had an advanced knowledge of knots. The Medical Examiner did believe there was a possibility JonBenét was sexually assaulted; however, no evidence of rape was found. Before JonBenét death she had eaten a pineapple.
Her brother Burke Ramsey’s motive to killing his sister Jon Benet was that she was getting all of the attention and he felt left out and not a part of the family. The next suspect is her mom Patsy, her motive was that Jon Benet always wet the bed and that would make Patsy irate so that could have been her motive. Another suspect is her father John Benet a good motive about John was that at the crime scene John removed physical evidence from Jon Benet. There whole family had something against Jon Benet so maybe they all kad it planned out. John, Patsy, and Burke could have all had something to do with this crime.
JonBenet Ramsey who was a young loving beauty queen of Colorado, who’s live was taken way too early. JonBenet was murdered in her home in Boulder Colorado on December 26, 1996 at the age of six. After completing my research, I was able to make a prediction of who I believed murdered the incent child, and it did not take much research to see the mistakes made by the Boulder Police Department. The Boulder Police Department made numerous mistakes in the JonBenet Ramsey case.
After being examined the autopsy reported that she had a fractured skull, had been sexually assaulted, and had been strangled with a garrote made from one of her mother's paint brushes. The conclusion of her death was homicide, and the cause of death was asphyxia from being strangled and craniocerebral trauma. When the Boulder Police Department started to investigate they strangely did not interview the Ramseys and when they did they were interviewed separately. For four years the reports from the investigation always came up short. The Ramseys were suspects and although the Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter didn’t file charges against them in 1999, the public still finds the Ramseys guilty.
