Our earth is getting hotter and hotter every day because of global warming. People today are always not thinking about us, the future generation. Our earth is getting warmer every day. And all of us are not aware of this; as an individual, I always think of what will happen to us humans one day.
Antarctica, the coldest continent on earth will start melting down slowly; our earth is getting destroyed in front of us. And we’re not doing anything about it. Antarctica has a lot of animals that live there; the polar bears and penguins, are mostly found in Antarctica. Antarctica is a beautiful place, we should take more care of it because it has amazing things.
One of the main reasons why global warming is happening is because we burn fossil fuels. Burning Fossil fuels and oil is very harmful to our atmosphere; fossils fuels release carbon when they are burned. The more carbon we release the more global warming we have. We need fossil fuels to heat our houses and we need them for energy.

In the 1960 's women would use multiple cans of hairspray to volume up their hairs; the more volume it has the better it will look. since these chlorofluorocarbons substances have a lot of carbon, the carbon causes global warming. Two scientists learned and researched about chlorofluorocarbons and found out that it causes global warming and it ruins the ozone layers. these two scientists directly gathered all the governments around the world and they banned those
Although, it is required that we give it that push to do so. In a way, we are killing ourselves and many other forms of life on earth. We do this by simply driving our cars to work everyday, powering our factories, and in general emitting large amounts of CO2 into our atmosphere. When we begin doing this, the greenhouse effect goes from sustaining our lives to putting it in danger. Some of the hottest years in recorded history have occurred during the 21st century.
The problem with the world today is significant overcrowding, specifically in the United States. All across the country, people are crowded together in small cities, while jails and prisons are huge buildings with plenty of space just waiting to be filled with criminals. With the annual national growth rate at .7 percent presently, soon there will be even less space for people to live and thrive as population increases. Already, Americans are crowded into tight spaces with barely enough room to breathe as 80.7 percent of the population lives in urban areas. Antarctica, however, is 1.5 times the size of the United States and completely available for use.
Annotated Bibliography: How Climate Change Is Affecting Our Planet Controversy statement: Climate change is been debated for over centuries now. People all around the world are taking action and reducing burning fossils to minimize the gasses in the atmosphere. Many people believe that climate change doesn't exists. But there are a lot of controversial topics that proves that climate change is real. In my opinion, climate change is slowly killing us and destroying our planet.
The Earth is melting, and people need to help. Climate change is a regular thing that happens on Earth, but recently, it has changed drastically. " Since 1880, Earth’s average temperature has increased by about 0.8 degrees Celsius. (BGE) This may not seem like much, but scientists are worried.
It is no surprise that the planet is increasingly getting warmer due to
Firstly global warming is actually natural, and the temperature has been slowly rising and cooling throughout the past 3000 years and the sudden rise in temperature in the recent years is perfectly normal and shouldn 't be considered as the destruction the earth. According to www.currentscience.ac.in "In 2014 a study of 2,181
Every time one opens Facebook, Snapchat, or a geographical magazine, they are bombarded with news about global warming and what we can do to stop it. Sites such as nymag.com ,who recently posted the article The Uninhabitable Earth, believe that because people are burning fossil fuels through actions such as using air conditioners and driving cars we are slowly destroying the planet. In a scientific debate, both sides of the story must be explored. .
Youssef Adhoum, A4/B4 Class Mr. Hewett Humans habits has lead to extreme pollution and continuous melting of Antarctica. In a couple millennia, Antarctica will be nothing but a plain sheet of ice. Due to no so environmentally friendly human habits, Antarctica has been exposed to over 992 million tons of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide (a type of greenhouse gas) itself isn't the cause of global warming. The sun is actually melting the ice, but the sun isn’t strong enough to melt the ice by itself, that is where carbon dioxide plays its role.
Global warming is a big problem that we have to face nowadays. If you search Google for the word “global warming’, you will get over 70 million pages of results. The subject has certainly drawn a lot of attention. And now I will talk more about “what is global warming” , the cause and the effects it has on the earth and also some possible solutions for this problem.
The Problem: Global warming is influencing several parts of the planet. Global warming makes the ocean rise, what’s more the point when the ocean rises; the water covers numerous low territory islands. This may be a huge issue for many of the plants, animals and for the people living around the islands. Furthermore that water covers the plants and causes some of them to even die. The point is that when they die, those animals lose a source of food, alongside their habitat.
Homero Castro Ms. Cabaj English IV, 3rd period 12 February 2018 Global Warming Global Warming is affecting the entire world. The issue of global warming is important because it’s affecting everyone.
Not only the future of the climate of our earth but also, the future of our generations would be determined by the amount of carbon we are planting in the atmosphere
Global warming is all about adverse climate change caused by the trapping of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere that affects biodiversity and poses a serious health hazard. Scientists have found strong evidence that human activities have caused most of the warming since the mid-1900 (“global warming”). Humans are responsible for
Polar ice caps are melting, sea level is rising, wet places are drying, cold places are warmer, all of these things are caused by Global Warming. What is Global Warming? you might ask. Well Global Warming is a slow rising of the earth’s overall temperature. This means that it isn’t a drastic change and the world’s climate is getting heated up in a week.
Questions like this, says Higgins, are what “drive the curiosity of climate scientists.” And when it comes to probing for answers, there’s no better place to start than on Antarctica’s frozen landscape. Ice, explains Higgins, traps gases such as carbon dioxide and methane – and what’s more, it preserves them remarkably well. Thus, “quality” ice samples can provide geologists like Higgins with a window into the past – and a peek at what future climate conditions could look like if greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise. “Ice cores,” says Higgins, “are seminal for understanding humans’ role in climate systems and how changes in CO2 affect changes in climate.”
