John 10 Three Part Analysis
Observation Phase
Verses 1- 10:
The Shepard enters through the gate, anyone who comes in another way is a thief. His sheep know and listen to His voice; they follow Him and He calls them by name. The sheep run from strangers and only follow their Shepard. Those who came before Him were thieves who came to kill and destroy. He comes to give us joy life to the fullest. Whoever enters through the gate will be saved, there is no other entrance.
Verses 11-21: He is the good Shepard; the Shepard lays down His life for His sheep. The hired hand does not care for the sheep and abandons them in their time of need. The Shepard knows His sheep and they know Him, just like He knows the Father and the Father knows Him. All the sheep have one Shepard. The Father loves His Son because He lays down His life, that He may take it up again. He lays down His life by

Not some of me, but all of me. He laid down His life and took it up with the Father, I will lay down my life to take it up in the Father’s name. He is the only good Shepard. All authority is His given by God. He as conquered sin and grave, death has no hold on Him. Those not of Him do not understand Him because they aren’t of Him. I will not be offended of rejection as I bear His name, and even through rejection His name is glorified. I will not doubt His name because He offers understanding freely. I will seek His voice, and His voice alone. I will tune to the spirit. My life is testimony His grace and goodness. This life is but a pit stop to spread and glorify His name before we see Him face to face where we will praise Him eternally. I cannot be stolen from His hands for He has conquered evil, my God is living and victorious. I will follow those not of God because my joy lies in Christ alone, the things of this world do not care for me. God is making a way, even when I cannot see Him where I
The Laramie Project is a book and play motivated by the savage attack and murder of a young gay man in Laramie, Wyoming. After the homicide, the members of the Tectonic Theater Project and it's creator Moises Kaufman went to the city of Laramie. They interviewed the townspeople for their memories of the crime and the mid-western city they lived in. The residents disclosed different viewpoints regarding the brutal attack and offered their own explanations to the motivation. The story is a narrative the theater group felt essential to unmask the bias against gays.
Compare and Contrast Essay Adam Shepard’s project had more of a purpose to prove to Americans. His journey provided evidence that the American Dream is achievable in a reasonable amount of time. Chris wasn 't trying to be admirable, but was just trying to live unsophisticated, with no regards or concern for anyone else. Throughout the two exploits both Adam and Chris had very different motivations.
Jim and Jesus both were shepherds to others teaching and leading them to
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice
His use of the quote from (Matthew 22:36-40) help him accuse the humanity others hold, and how they could allow their ‘neighbor’ to go through such emotional pains and
“Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?” [28] So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly
This lines up perfectly with Jesus’ sacrifice for us. He loved us and desired to save us, and the only way to do that was through his death which is later parralled with Tris’ death in Allegiant. In John 15:13 it says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one 's life for one 's
I do not doubt it for a second. God has told us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, which is one of God’s most important commandments, and John did that. God told us to love only one God, and John’s love for God did not waver. God told us that we are not to lie or bear false witness to our neighbor, and John never did. The only commandment John ever broke was adultery, and that was my fault.
Hershel states “and shall come forth; they have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” (the walking dead. Season 2) This biblical allusion reveals that the ones who doubt resurrection are the ones who doubt God. The biblical allusion also shows how important the bible is on the world and provides a sense of realism. The accurate and realistic use of the Biblical allusion provides reason in itself for why so many people look to the bible to get them through tough times.
The fallen have obviously destroyed their credibility with the maker, and apologies and excuses alone will not save them. Continuing with His speech, He explains to His listeners that He wants them to be saved, but by doing so Himself He is against risking the truth of their free will. Basically, God is not so subtly looking for a volunteer to “Die he or justice must, unless for him/ Some other able and as willing to pay/ The rigid satisfaction, death for death” (3.210-212). Acting as all fathers do, He implements the tough love and says that if they’re going to act like that, someone has to take responsibility. And, as God’s creations, the angels are unwilling to suffer for the sins of another.
Christ has carried me through every mile of the journey. So I will continue to be faithful, which means I proclaim and follow Christ in my own life to myself and to others so that long after Christ has called me away they may still be found in
Christ begins this parable with the younger son requesting his inheritance. “And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them.” The younger son feels he is free from his father’s authority and embarks on a journey that is filled with reckless behavior that leaves him homeless. It is in this humble state that he reflects on his faith, asks for forgiveness, and is rewarded a king’s welcome upon his return.
We are to come together and unite as one or even to have relationships with people and not seclude ourselves from people. God enters through the relationships
and so he walked and when the walls caved in and when his enemies attacked he continued to walk. Hebrews chapter 11 speaks of many apostles and characters who by walking into the unknown with faith experienced the faithfulness and miracles of God. Today we hope to
While the other gospels emphasize the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven, John instead emphasizes new life found in Jesus. It’s from John that we get Christ’s famous claim “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me” -John 14:6. Jesus frequently uses metaphors to hint at his identity. John records more of these analogies than any other gospel, giving us some of the most famous word pictures for Christ.
