Peter the Great came barreling through Russia as tsar from 1721 to 1725, bringing with him a slew of economic, social, and political reforms that are argued to have made Russia a great nation once again. Prior to his reign, Russia had endured many difficulties, from Ivan the Terrible’s chaotic reign to the great Raskol to the time of troubles. Peter the Great is credited with prompting Russia to rise once again as a great nation through great institutional reforms, particularly surrounding military-based industrialization. Despite how highly regarded Peter the Great is in Russian society, historians like Marc Raeff argue that Peter the Great’s reign “was to tear Russian society apart, leaving behind a legacy of uncertainty and insecurity that
The Soviet Union in Russia used violence to govern their people by exiling or exucuting the bourgeois. The Bourgeois, during that time, had major influence on Russia because of their status, power and wealth. Stalin was the ringleader, as he controlled the population through his swordsman called the KGB. When the Soviet Union was in power twenty million innocent Russain citizans died, and for the people who survivied they lived in famion, fear and fatigue. Therefore, because Stalin killed over twenty million people for his lust of power, Russia was governed by

A leader is someone that is in charge of a group, organization, country, etc. A leader is also someone that perfects all the views of leadership, this is important because when a leader is facing a situation he or she will know how to handle it. Everyone has leadership qualities but it's how you use these qualities and traits that make you a good or bad leader. For instance, Oprah is viewed as a good leader because although she went through a lot of issues in her life she was able to use those trials as a way to inspire others. A bad leader is Rafael trujillo,
His past is similar to a dictator in human society. Stalin killed his opponents in order to gain and remain in power. The pasts of the two leaders brings them to how they view others'

For many years the United States and Russia have shared relationships however, some were friendly and some may have been hostile. Americans could learn a lot about Russia if they would take the time to educate themselves with the culture of their country. Some characteristics that define culture could be language, religion, politics, and social structure. In doing this the relationship between Russia and the United States can be strengthened in the near future.

Likewise, Delonas, using light rays, brings attention to the lapel pin embellishing Putin’s jacket and his glittering wristwatch in order to portray Putin as
During the revolution he wasn't really known until Lenin died and he took charge of the USSR. And when the Russian revolution was over he became the ruler. A lot of the people were influenced by what he did to maintain his rulership. “Stalin made his dictatorship absolute by liquidating all opposition within the party( Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin)”. “I think the international community should unite to fight such inhuman phenomena as terror attacks and the murder of totally innocent people.” Words by Vladimir Putin a man who has taken countless lives of innocent people. Putin is exceptionally well at being a hypocrite. He accuses people of doing actions he himself has done. Leadership is can mean different things to different people. To me, leadership is more than having a title and subordinates. Leadership is having the courage to make the right choices, engage others in a vision, and empower your subordinates with a shared purpose and to achieve positive impacts. This gives off the notion that the Russian people are cold-hearted, rude and unfriendly to the Americans. It even turned out to become a stereotype made by visitors who knew nothing about Russia 's culture and quickly generalized them as cold-hearted. They are not cold hearted in fact, they are one of the most generous societies once you get to know them. Going around smiling at random people is normal for us in the States ,but in Russia, they say that constant smiling and laughter without reason is an indication that the individual is touched in the head.
Whether people want or not, a leader/leaders are necessary to a society. Throughout history and around the world, there have been a number of leaders.
