Walt Disney World was built in America on October 1st, 1971. This is still ongoing, and is very popular. Walt Disney was very depressed with the war, and was constantly coming up with ideas to change the other depression around him. He finally came up with an idea one day- to make characters like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse come to life. He made rides and other fun things to do, so that there isn’t a chance to get bored.

Two year old lane graves was wading in the water but the shoreline out side Disneys Grand Flouridian Resourt when an alligator jumped out of the water and drowned the two year old boy. Every other accident has been heart attacks and strokes non of which Disney caused(sit). What was the purpose of the creation of Walt Disney World.

Walt was infamously known for being challenging and a perfectionist with his employees and friends. Some saw him as purely passionate about goals, while others simply thought he was extremely self-centered. He was often shocked and bewildered when someone would disagree with him. Friends and coworkers called him a "workaholic" and said he was regarded as a hypocrite. For example, he looked down upon those who had the bad habit of smoking, yet did it constantly (Dow).

The Disney Brand is renowned throughout the world and the development of a theme park here which has a population of over 1 billion would provide a huge opportunity for the Disney company to grow even more substantially. Disney focuses on the market segmentation of families and children. Disney catches children 's interest through the advertisement of rides and characters which then leads to them asking their parents to visit the park. Disney focuses on the following demographics age, life cycle, gender and many different aspects. In attracting children and young people, they make commercials with well known Disney characters, and also showing the entertainment the kids will experience on the rides and exploring the parks.

The company manages through its five business segments which includes parks and resorts, media networks, studio entertainment, consumer products and interactive. The Disney’s objective is to be one of the world 's leading manufactures and companies of entertainment and information, by using its portfolio of brands to differentiate its content, services and consumer products.

Walt Disney was an American motion picture and television producer and showman born in Hermosa Chicago, IL on Dec5, 1901. Disney went to McKinley High School for only one year then dropped out at the age of 16, he was hoping to join the army, but was rejected because of his age. Walt’s brother Roy was a big influence to him especially when he helped him succeed in the Disney Company. His first real job was for Pesman-Rubin commercial art studio designing letterhead and advertisements where he made $50 a month. Walt created Mickey Mouse in 1928 and created a cartoon called Steamboat Willie which then led to the name Mickey Mouse becoming a national sensation.

Once production was set the people he was working with went behind his back, signed a contract without him and tried taking it from him, (Disney-History). That’s when he decided he was going to create a cartoon named Mickey, where they wouldn 't be able to take it from him. That’s where the cartoons really started to take off. Going through all that hard work and having to recreate something huge created a new path and adventure in his career.

Most of you have heard of Walt Disney or watched one of his hundreds of films. Without this great man we would not have many of our great films such as my favorite, the Disney Princesses. Walt had a hard childhood, great career ,and fascinating death. Walt brought joy to many children’s childhoods even though his childhood was less than perfect.
