I enjoyed reading about the companionship between Billy and his dogs. I also think that Rawls did a fantastic job describing Billy’s emotions and how excited he was to get the dogs. The connection I made with the book and the characters really tied the whole book together and allowed me to savor and appreciate the book more. Although, Where the Red Fern Grows was an emotion grabbing book, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I found that the book was predictable and slightly boring. I found that this book was hard to focus on and read for long amounts of time even though it should have been a quick read due to it’s size. I would recommend Where the Red Fern Grows to people who like reading about the adventurous companionship between

The book Where The Fern Grows was written in 1961 and the movie first came out in 1974. The book was written by Wilson Rawls. The movie was directed by Norman Tokarr. If you've ever watched the movie you could tell that it was made a long time ago. If you haven't seen or read Where the Red Fern Grows you might not know that it is one of the saddest books/movies you might ever see.
Where the red fern grows I will build my house. 12. While the sun shines make hay.
This book was interesting for me because it allowed me to relate to a character. I love reading novels that not only allow me to feel a connection with a character, but allow me to relate to their personality or
“Where the Red Fern grows,” is a book and a movie. The movie and the book has the same scenes but the movie is missing some details. The book has more narration than the movie. The book in my opinion feels like I am there. It draws me in more than the movie does.
Overall the book is fairly slow, slightly good plot, and several underdeveloped
“A wonderful novel about mothers and daughters and the transcendent power of love” (Connie May Fowler). This quote reflects the novel, The Secret Life of Bees, by Sue Monk Kidd because the protagonist in the story, Lily Owens, her mother have died when she was four years old and she didn’t feel loved by her abusive father, T. Ray Owens, until she met the Boatwrights family with the housekeeper, Rosaleen, and stayed with them. The Boatwrights family are the three black sisters who are August, May, and June. This novel took place in Sylvan and Tiburon, South Carolina, where Lily grew up and where she found the answer to her questions.
Have you participated in a group activity? These group activities are environments where many unique people can share similarities with their peers. Old Dan and Little Ann, two of Billy’s dogs in Where The Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls, have different appearances and different ways of approaching conflict. Despite these differences, they both share loyal personalities. First of all, Old Dan and Little Ann have very different appearances.
There were a lot of themes that I picked up. Kit was a very brave and courageous character and everyone had a lot of loyalty. In conclusion, I would recommend this book. I thought it was pretty

The plan is to spread ash around to the chicken coup, where Nelson lives, to see the footprints of the guilty. In the morning, they checked their trap and it was sprung. Footprints that matches the local witch but a snake was hiding in the shadows.
It is a great love story only enhanced by the outlandish characters and constant mockery. The pacing of the novel is slow at first until half way through the first volume. The plot then accelerates and by the third volume it is hard to put down. Characters such as Mr. Collins, Mrs. Bennet, and Lady De Bourgh were all hysterical caricatures meant that livened up the novel during times when the plot was thin. The novel would not have been as cohesive or interesting without characters to add comic relief.
I would have to say that one of many books that has helped to form my understanding of my faith is actually the book called Daisy Head Mayzie by Dr. Seuss. This story is about a girl who at the very beginning of the story is just like everyone else though rather quickly it becomes apparent, when she sprouts a daisy on her head, that she is rather different from everyone else. Over the course of the book she faces teasing and fame along with the desire to be normal and hating all of the attention. When I look back and try to imagine what I was thinking while reading this book it is initially hard because I was five years old when the book came out.
In this scene you see, you are not part of a normal community, but also opening up with the trees and nature. You see Billy fantasies of what society should be. You see the pure beauty, but also see his unrealistic view of the
