“There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism.” Alexander Hamilton once said with great confidence. Even though being so inspiring,throughout his time he had many bad relations with people. People such as Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Maria Reynolds. Alexander was a great man. Along with that he was man that did many bad things for his personal gain. Hamilton had fought for his political party, used James Madison for money, and had a sexual affair with his wife.
Thomas Jefferson was Alexander Hamilton’s rival in the government. Hamilton and Jefferson were never on good standards with each other, moreover they actually hated each other. They hated each to the point they had plotted to do something so that they don't get what they want. In the election of 1800 Jefferson was going for president and “Hamilton’s goal in the election was to keep Jefferson out of the government,” (Pg. 91 of Hamilton by Arthur M. Schlesinger). He tried to keep him out by putting in a Federalist candidate which is John Adams. John Adams,who was the 2nd president of the United States of America, also hated Hamilton but sided with him because he was a federalist. …show more content…

In 1787, Hamilton had many bad affairs outside of the government. The Government had nothing to do when he did this it was of free will. The Government was to busy with the fight with Britain and France fighting with each other. Even so we had decided to remain neutral.
