Although these morals provided a strong basis and foundation for the country at the time, the culture and environment among the people has changed. The wants and the needs of the citizens have transformed into different issues that the Declaration does not address. The change within the cultural issues from past to present demands that the Declaration be updated to address these situations and provide answers to these problems, still incorporating the ideals and principles of the founding fathers. Despite the minor disputes and disagreements between editors, changes in the Declaration could positively alter today’s society and fix societal

The American Declaration of Independence was created to provide more freedom and equality for the citizens of America. But also to help gather more troops, announce the creation of a new country, and win over foreign allies.
The Declaration of Independence is the founding element of this country, and would not have the stability it has today without it. The argument is how each part of the Declaration is used to benefit and serve the people. There are documents provided, and this essay will relate each document to the part of the Declaration that it supports. The Declaration was constructed in order to relieve the colonies of Great Britain’s grasp, but is still incredibly useful in today’s living. The idea of the Declaration was introduced around June 1776, and was finally finished by Thomas Jefferson on July 4th, 1776.

Conclusion In conclusion, the Declaration of Independence is one of history’s most influential documents, and played an integral role in the formation of not just the America we know, but the world as a whole. The conception of this document altered the course of history, and gave birth to new superpowers, and new nations entirely. How do you pick one document out of the billions in our National Archives and label it as the most important? Can you look back at your life and pick only one moment that is the most significant to you? It is a daunting task, but logic follows that the most significant moment in anyone’s life would be the moment of his or her birth, for if that never occurred then other moments could not follow. Therefore, I believe that the document that marks the birth of our nation, The Declaration of Independence, is unquestionably the most important document in our National Archives.
The Declaration of Independence may appear to be an old document of ancient history, but in reality, it applies immensely to today’s society. This document publicly states the base of America’s belief in freedom. This includes human rights for all, and a country that has a government not only run by the citizens, but also for the citizens. Originally, it was written as a cry for freedom from Great Britain, but today it stands for so much more.
There are several similarities and differences between the American and Haitian Declarations of Independence. The Haitian Declaration of Independence seems to focus primarily on freeing themselves from the French’s influence and slavery. Several times throughout the document, the French are referred to as a tyranny. It is very clear that the new Haitian government wants nothing to do with the French. In fact, they want to “wash away” all memories of what life was like with the French in power.
The Declaration of Independence, penned and published on July 4th 1776, is perhaps the most famous document in the short history of human rights. Written largely by Thomas Jefferson, it is the first succinct, unashamedly loud declaration of the equal rights of man. The Declaration took the philosophy of men like Hobbes and Locke and put it into practice, deciding that the “self-evident” rights of man could no longer be abused by tyrannical government. The Declaration affirms that the rights to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” were written “Laws of Nature” that every man should be afforded equally and without limitations. It also declares that the oppression of rights is wrong and tyrannical.
The primary objective of the Declaration of Independence was to announce the thirteen colonies’ unanimous decision to gain independence from Great Britain (Heritage). The document has three major themes; the first discusses human rights and the role of the government, the second lists the grievances, and the third expresses the colonies’ desire for independence. The Preamble is the first section of the document, and it proclaims that all men are equal and have unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It requires a fair and just government to protect the rights of the citizens. The Declaration of Independence further outlines how the people can decide the way the government should form, how it should function, and
It also included a passage critical of King George III and the slave trade, but were omitted from the final draft, for being too controversial. The Declaration of Independence was a Declaration for international recognition of America’s struggle for freedom and served as an inspiration for colonial peoples around the world seeking
