By New Belgium considering opening a third brewery, all the options needs to be accounted for and thought out carefully. The company needs to promote strategic planning in order to decide if opening a third brewery is a good business decision or not. A strategic plan helps identity the internal and external elements that can benefit or harm the company (Ferrell and Hartline, 2005, p. 29). Therefore, the strategic planning will help identify the major issues that need to be considered such as the pros and cons of the new brewery. The pros of opening a new facility are reasons why the brewery should open, so we will discuss those ideas first. The first pro to consider is that the product the brewery produces is very unique and different and that appeals to customers. …show more content…
The case study implies that the craft beer industry is doing well, but the industry is not reaching all the customers that it needs to. However, by the product New Belgium produces, it separates itself from other companies and provides a unique product that cannot be found just anywhere within the US creating the company to have a competitive advantage. Another pro to consider it that the customers love the product and in the beginning that is how New Belgium advertised was by word of mouth via their satisfied customers. Without a product that is appealing and satisfying to customers, a company simply could not succeed. A study conducted showed that a strong correlation exists between customer satisfaction and the willingness of the customer to promote the product by word of mouth in the end helping the company sell their products more successfully (Confente and Russo, 2015). Therefore, by New Belgium promoting their company as a down to earth company and their wonderful product helps enhance customer satisfaction which will lead to an increase in

Madison Hector 830037811 While taking my first brewery tour to New Belgium recently, I was amazed at how well the company supports and promotes sustainability. Within various aspects of the tour I saw and heard of a variety of ways within that supports the four dimensions of sustainability; economic, ecological, social, and institutional. New Belgium began as a small brewing company started in the basement of founders Jeff Lebesch and Kim Jordan and has since then expanded into the amazing business it is today while never faltering from the values they believe in. Through sustainability, utilizing innovative technologies, and following the four dimensions of sustainability, New Belgium has helped follow George Wallace’s principles to minimize
In order to be a great Big Canada contest you need to be a good competitor, having amazing social skills and be able to strategize, I know that I abstain all of those skills. I love competition I have played competitive sports for all my life so I know what it takes to win a competition and work as a team. In this game you need other people to in order to make it far in the games, therefore competitive sports has taught me how to be a team player and use people to your advantage. Secondly, you need good social skills to survive in the house, I think my ability to persuade people into believing me or going with my ideas is pretty good.

This past summer I was out to lunch with my mother. As the mature adolescent I am, I asked her to by me a beer so I could enjoy my food. She obliged, and we enjoyed our lunch with little commotion. Towards the end of our meal, the restaurant manager came up to me and asked if I was 21.
First reason the drinking age should not be lowered to eighteen is because of the obvious health issues. The brain is still developing in an adolescent which not only makes them more vulnerable to the toxic effects of alcohol but can also cause irreversible brain damage. Neuroscientist Susan Tapert conducted a study and compared the brain scans of adolecesents that drank and the scans that didn’t drink, the drinkers “appeared to have a number of little dings throughout their brains ' white matter, indicating poor quality, and poor quality of the brain 's white matter indicates poor, inefficient communication between brain cells. ”(qtd. in Trudeau) Alcohol does the most damage to the frontal lobe which is part of the brain that is responsible for planning, forming ideas, using self control and making decisions.

The Natural Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 has effectively established the drinking age to be 21 in order to drink alcohol in all fifty states. According to the National Minimum Drinking Age Act this law has saved 17,000 on the highways since 1988, and I believe this law should remain. 18-year-olds should not be allowed to drink. At the age of 18 one should not be allowed to drink alcohol because of the maturity level, increasing rates of car accidents and alcohol poisoning. Of course, many will disagree on the grounds of twenty-one being the age to purchase alcohol.
Even though teens and young adults consume alcohol does not mean that it is a right thing to do, it can be dangerous and harmful to your body. To clarify, alcohol drinking can interfere with the development of the young adult brain. With that being said it can interfere with controlling anger, fear, and your happiness. The more permanent effects can be memory loss and weakness in your muscles and bones. In fact, lowering the drinking age would let more use of illegal drugs.
The drinking age in America is currently set to the age of twenty-one, but should it really be? Day-after-day people abuse this law and partake in underage drinking; however, these people who abuse the law are considered adults. Eighteen, nineteen, and twenty-year-old citizens are given the responsibilities of being an adult, should they not also be given the rewards of being an adult? That is why the drinking ages should be lowered from the age of twenty-one to the age of eighteen.
21 and older: not younger Image being called at midnight being told your child died in a car accident because of a drunk driver. As a matter of fact, an estimated of 5,000 people under the age of twenty-one die every year from drunk driving (NIH). Why would we allow more younger groups of people to drink, if they have already shown that they are irresponsible? The drinking age should not be lowered to eighteen because it encourages reckless behavior, causes developmental issues, and teenagers are not mature enough.
Teen drinking is one of the most controversial and serious topic in the United States and other countries. In USA, a person needs to be 21 years old in order to be legally consuming alcohol. However, the age drinking has not always been the same, before 1984 the legal drinking age was 18, but for many reasons the government decided to pass a law to raise it to 21. A lot of people disagree with the drinking age but most people agree that 21 is a reasonable age to be responsibly drinking. The legal age drinking in the United States should stay as 21 and not lower because alcohol consuming needs responsibility,
Beer has had a profound impact on western society. It is used during holidays, celebrations, and general recreation. However, what more westerners don’t know is that beer has also greatly influenced Asian countries--specifically Japan. Even though Japan has a culture known for drinking tea, beer has been a large part since it was introduced in the 1800s, and is still a large part of Japanese society today. However, it had a majority of its impact leading up to the interwar period in Japan (the time between World War One and World War Two).
