One of the most effective and crucial programs for women’s health is currently under attack by the so-called president of the United States, Donald Trump. In an attempt to convince the people that he is willing to stand up for everyone, including the unborn, but instead, Mr. Trump is oppressing women and taking away their rights as human beings. Without Planned Parenthood, 2.5 million men and women would be left without affordable, high-quality health care. One in five women have visited a Planned Parenthood in their lifetime. The fact that all of the care and help Planned Parenthood gives can all be lost due to something as petty as abortion services is almost laughable.

In the New York Times article, "The Stealth Attack on Abortion Access," author Meaghan Winter works to inform her audience on abortion and on the fact that women with low income are having their freedom to choose what they want to do with their body stripped away by abortion foes and republicans. The same abortion foes and republicans who voted to stop organizations, like planned parenthood, from providing cancer screenings, ultrasounds, contraception, and other services to low income women. She also strives to convince her audience to stand up against the people negating a women’s right to choose, and to help fight for the rights of women everywhere. Certain groups of republicans and other anti-abortion associations and advocates are “subsidizing centers with public funds” by working to “defund comprehensive health care providers”. The documentary, “After Tiller” by Lana Wilson and Martha Shane is about three doctors that perform third trimester abortions. This documentary was made to help persuade the pro-life audiences into becoming more pro-choice. There are many ways that made the film effective, but there are also ways that it is ineffective. In one of the scenes of the film they introduce a women by the name of Dr. Shelly Sella. This doctor is talking to a soon to be mother and father.

Roe vs. Wade is the highly publicized Supreme Court ruling that overturned a Texas interpretation of abortion law and made abortion legal in the United States. The Roe v. Wade decision held that a woman, with her doctor, has the right to choose abortion in earlier months of pregnancy without legal restriction, and with restrictions in later months, based on the right to privacy. As a result, all state laws that limited women 's access to abortions during the first trimester of pregnancy were invalidated by this particular case. State laws limiting such access during the second trimester were upheld only when the restrictions were for the purpose of protecting the health of the pregnant woman. Roe v. There are many women who have been raped and it can be argued that ethically they have the right to have an abortion as they did not choose to get pregnant, but in Christianity’s view a life is a life, regardless of how it occurred. Even those denominations that support the right, believe that abortion is most-often not the right choice.

Many people are protesting and causing an uproar all over the world. They also provide abortions that are immoral and go against many people’s beliefs, including my own. This is why I believe that abortions should be made illegal and Planned Parenthood should no longer receive funding from the United States government. The disgust with planned parenthood causes many protests and arguments around the world and most of the uproar is because of the abortions that their centers provide. These arguments and fights have been going on for decades and the reasoning behind them leads us right back to abortion.

I still remember the first Time I stood before a Planned Parenthood clinic for a few hours to support the right to life. I personally have performed many protesting actions against abortion. I have picketed in front of Planned Parenthood.gone to pro-life masses. attended numerous right to life conferences, and other pro-life actions. I do these things to support my beliefs, and extend support to those who are confused and considering abortion.

These illegal abortions pose major health risks to the life of the woman including damage to the bladder, intestines as well as rupturing of the uterus. The choice to become a mother must be given to the woman most importantly because it’s her body, her health, and she will be taking on a great responsibility. A woman’s choice to choose abortion should not be restricted by anyone; there are multiple reasons why abortion will be the more sensible decision for the female.
