Youth sports are very popular in today’s society, but there are different opinion on whether or not they are good for kids. Even though some people may not agree, I believe that youth sports do more good than harm to children. Foremost, I believe children who play sports have stronger social skills than other kids. Second, ports are productive hobbies for kids and they learn to spend time wisely. Most importantly, with obesity becoming a problem amongst kids, I think it is important that kids get exercise.
I believe, Children involved in youth athletics have significantly stronger social skills. For example when kids play sports they learn the basics of leadership, They learn how to take charge in helping their team win the game. Another example is they learn sportsmanship, they learn to not make such a big deal about losing because they know that they played their best and tried their hardest to try to win a game. Lastly, the children learn competitive skills, too make sure they play their hardest no matter

Usually when kids get home from school they most likely go sit on the couch and go on the computer and properly have something to eat. Another thing is a sport that person plays may be the sport that they want to grow up playing. The reason I say this is because you get a lot of kids try out for sports that they love to play and consider growing up playing the sport.Lastly they learn about time management, the reason i say this is when ever they play a sport they usually make up a schedule of what their day is going to be like. For instance their schedule usually goes like this go to school, come home, go to practice, come home and eat, do homework, and go to bed. To sum up children has groun in a new hobby from starting a

It will be very beneficial for them because they will learn to do things on time which will help them in their careers or jobs and it will teach them healthy habits. Student athletes will gain the ability to balance everything and acquire time
“I’m a big football fan, but I have to tell you, if I had a son, I’d have to think long and hard before I let him play football (President Barrack Obama)”. American Football is a full contact sport played by two teams of eleven players move the ball forward by running and passing . What makes it so dangerous is the amount of hits players receive during the match and during training. Teenagers are far better with sports in school rather than out. Sports have lifetime benefits that help a lot of students for instance, to participate in sports a majority of schools require you to be eligible, students who play sports when in high school tend to get better paying jobs later in life, they have more confidence and leadership skills, in short, sports have far more positive outcomes than negative. When students play sports in school it motivates them to do better. With more school pride and confidence they strive to do well and reach academic goals. The teachers take part in making sure they’re athletes do well in school as well by not allowing them to participate in games (and/or practices) if they have any failing grades
Sports are very important to many teenagers. Playing a sport requires a kid to dedicate their time to bettering himself. If kids did not participate in a sport they would have to much free time on their hands, and start doing things they shouldn’t. Instead of running sprints, lifting weights, and preparing themselves for a long season they could be walking the streets, drinking, doing drugs, stealing, or just simply wasting their life away. To be eligible to play a sport a teenager must attend class and make good grades.
In today's society, sports has become a very popular leisure activity and a means of effective physical movement for many young children across the United States. Competitive sports provide a community which kids can work with and beat other teams with. “Playing a sport helps children develop social skills which would benefit them even when they grow older. Playing sports teaches them about teamwork and cooperating with others. They learn to interact with people from different ages” (Mahaseth). When these kids grow up, they can use these skills to be able to cooperate and talk with their colleagues.

The author Thelma Gomez, says “Playing sports is an important elemen5t in the lives of many American children.” And she is correct. Sports can make kids the next David Wright, the next LeBron James, the next Eli Manning, or the next Lionel Messi. The best part of sports is that you're improving your physical health, psychological health, social skills, and academic benefits. Physical and phychological health can benefit a child in many ways.
