A twenty-five-year-old Casey Anthony was accused in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. After all the evidence was proposed to the jury, Anthony was still found not guilty. According to Bay News, on June 15, 2008, Caylee was last seen by her grandmother. On July 16, 2008, her grandmother later began to claim Caylee was missing. Before Casey Anthony mentioned anything to anyone about her daughter disappearance, it had been over an entire month.

Casey Anthony was one of the only things people could talk about in 2008. Casey Anthony blew the news up about the killing of her daughter, the case lasted for about three years before the court finally reached a non- guilty verdict. The media and people all around America continued to speculate on reasons why they thought the verdict should have been guilty. After examining the case, two theories connect to the case. Casey Anthony has allowed me to further explore and examine all the theories so that I could explain the reasoning behind Anthony’s actions.

In the case Michael Peterson was being tried for the murder of his wife Kathleen. Peterson stated that he had found Kathleen at the bottom of the stairs bleeding badly after coming in from sitting at the pool side. He states that he thought that she had fallen down the stairs. Some people who are also involved in this case include their children and a military escort that is homosexual. It was found that Peterson had been trying to meet up with escorts to fulfill his homosexual needs.

“I don’t know where she is, and thats the God honest truth.” - Casey Anthony. These are just some of the words Casey lied about to judge Belvin Perry face in the 2008 case. In July of 2008, Caylee Anthony was murdered by her mother. Casey was wrongly acquitted of her charges of First degree murder, Aggregative child abuse, and aggregative man slaughter.

In the days leading up to Casey’s arrest, she was out partying with friends and getting tattoos. Casey’s relationship with her mother was a tumultuous one; her wild partying combined with that relationship may have lead her to this end. Casey is arrested and tried for the death of her little girl. The defense knows that they

“Inmate Robyn Adams, with whom Anthony exchanged 50 letters while incarcerated, told investigators that Casey Anthony told her that she sometimes used "stuff" to put her daughter to sleep” (9). Even though, this can be considered hearsay, the evidence is in these letters and this inmates testimony. I feel that it would have helped the prosecutions case if they had Casey talk to a psychologist. USA TODAY published an article “Casey Anthony breaks her silence: I sleep pretty good at night.” Anthony did an interview with Associated Press speaking about the case and her daughter’s death for the first time. The Associated Press said that the interview with Anthony was “revealing, bizarre and often contradictory, and ultimately raised more question than answers about the case.” In the interview with Associated Press, Anthony admitted to lying to the police about a number of things such as her employment, leaving her child with a babysitter, and receiving a call from Caylee before she went missing. During the trial, the defense stated that Caylee had drown in the pool and then Casey Anthony’s father tried to cover up the accident.

The article was written for the newspaper that Nigel writes for, Willamette Week (Jaquiss). “For his investigation exposing a former governor 's long concealed sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old girl” (Jaquiss). The investigators mostly interviewed people that had connections to or knew Goldschmidt or the girl, who they referred to as Susan. This was the best way to get opinions and information from lots of different people (Jaquiss).

Casey Anthony “Smell of Death” In the summer of 2008, Casey Anthony daughter Caylee Anthony was last seen on June 16, 2008. No one knows where she was nor did Casey report that her daughter was missing. Time went by with no sign of Caylee reappearing. Casey’s mother called and reported that her granddaughter was missing and that Casey’s car smelled like a dead body had been in there.

"Kailey was wearing a pink shirt, jean shorts, sunglasses, and a backpack. Jojo, George Anthony, kissed his granddaughter goodbye and never saw her again. In fact, no one but Casey Anthony ever saw Kailey Marie Anthony ever again" (Casey Anthony Trial). When the prosecutor said this in the courtroom, Casey began to shake her head and wipe the tears rolling down her face. The judge showed no emotion and it did not show the jury; meanwhile Casey continued to cry while her defense team comforted her.

The defense attorney claimed that Anthony and her father tried to cover up the death. A forensic expert is brought in and testifies that there must have been a decomposing body in Anthony’s car trunk because that was the only plausible explanation for the odor in the car trunk. Casey Anthony did not testify during the whole court process. The jury deliberated for almost eleven hours and their verdict for Anthony was that she was not of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. She was found guilty of four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.

And during those 10 years, one of the girls, Amanda Berry gave birth to his child. After they escaped from this horror house on Seymour Street, the 3 women wrote a memoir about what happened. The book would shift from perspectives and recount what their families were going through. They even wrote about the steps they took to move forward afterwards. Now the women are able to live their lives monster free and live happily knowing justice was served in the right

Case Gone Wrong: Anthony vs State of Florida Case No. 5D11-2357 If ever there was a botched case it was this one with inconsistencies on the part of the State being overwhelming. I watched this trial intently and read everything available.

Steven Avery, born on July 9, 1962 was born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Avery’s parents, Dolores Avery and Allan Avery owned an auto salvage yard that Steven Avery worked at in his earlier years. Steven Avery and his family were not really liked in the town and mostly stayed to themselves. The Avery’s believed that the town’s people thought very little of them and always isolated them around town. At the age of 22, Steven Avery was wrongfully convicted of rape.

On May 25, 2010 Casey Anthony 's lawyer states to the court and jury that Caylee was unintentionally drowned in the swimming pool of their home , and that Casey and her father had cover it up. The prosecution presented that Casey Anthony did research on chloroform at her home computer but her mother Cindy Anthony 's asserted that it was her that made the searches that implicated her daughter but the records showed that Cindy Anthony was at work when these searches were done. On July 5, the jury found Casey not guilty of first degree murder but she was found guilty on four misdemeanors because she provided false material to a law enforcement officers.
