On Wednesday 10-14-15 at approximately 1700 hours I Officer Hildebrand and Sgt. Hard were advised by dispatch that Debra Vanblaricom was at the station asking to talk to an officer. Debra wished to report an assault on her granddaughter. We met with Debra in the Police Department to speak with her. Debra stated that she feared for her granddaughter 's safety.

CCIB Intake received a cross report call from Marisa Romero with the County of San Diego CPS. Marisa stated she met with Detective Elizabeth Hundley to initiate the investigation of Gabriel Munoz DOB: 4/6/15 head injury. Marisa stated she and the Detective have statements from teachers regarding the incident. The Director was also interviewed and denied the incident happened. The Director continued to deny the incident even when the teacher Monika Huynh admitted the child hit his head when she fell.

It states “Use special sensitivity when dealing with children and inexperienced sources or subjects (Day 456).” I believe Chapin followed this code when bringing awareness to this situation. If I was in his shoes, I would have handled things exactly the same way. He did a great job brining awareness without throwing the reporter under the bus. Mary, I received a call from Mr. Dennis Hyatt, he has twin girl 's who are 8 years old at Manzanita. According to Dad the girls are being bullied and physically harmed by the same girl every day. Mr. Hyatt indicated that he has spoken to Ms. Hayes regarding the issue and that Ms. Hayes would do an investigation to hear both sides of the story. According to Ms. Hyatt, Ms. Hayes relayed information that his girls are doing the one doing the bullying, which he doesn 't agree with because he as spoken to other kids in their class who live in his neighborhood and they have confirmed that the issue is not with his daughters.

On Tuesday 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM, student Erin Turner came to the security office to report being struck by another classmate, Anthony Brown. Erin Turner a 4th grade student was interviewed on 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM. Student Turner stated that on Monday 1-9-17 Anthony Brown slapped her on the face as they were returning to their classroom from lunch.

On Wednesday May 13, 2014 a 6 year old kindergarten, Ian, was grabbed by his teacher. Not only was he picked up, but Ian’s mother states that there was a bruise on the back of his head. Video evidence shows the young kindergartner trapped between a wall and a furious teacher. We are not quite sure what Barb WIlliam’s motive was.
