In the Red Headed League, Holmes, as the protagonist does not lead a” common place” or ordinary life because Sherlock Holmes is the best detective he can track clues faster than an average person can. When Sherlock scan Mr. Wilson, Sherlock seen his jacket and his tattoos, Sherlock said your sleeve is shiny because you write too much. The other thing Sherlock said was that your right arm is a little bigger than the left. Sherlock told Mr. Wilson that the tattoos you got are from china I can tell form the design. He saw the cracks in the cellar of the bank and looked at it with his magnifying glass.
Sherlock Holmes appeals to millions of readers because of his suspense that sets a tone in his stories. In the Red Headed League Sherlock went down to the cellar of the bank to hopefully catch the criminals. It brought the story level to intensity because the plot leads to darkness inside the cellar. The story rise action was when Sherlock asks Mr. Watson to bring a gun.

Dr. Watson is an assistant to Sherlock Holmes because Sherlock told Watson to bring a gun to the cellar of the bank just in case. The other thing is that Watson can’t spot clues just as fast like Sherlock. Most of the time Watson does not really know what is going on sometimes; Sherlock usually tells him most of the time. Both of these young men grew up in roughly the same environment, the ghettos of Baltimore, Maryland and the Bronx, New York, respectively.
In “The Red-Headed League,” several clues helped Mr. Holmes find out what crime was being contemplated and when the crime was going to be committed. Throughout the story, the criminals leave clues like where their crime was planned to take place, how they would proceed with the crime, and who would be partaking in the event. There were five specific clues that pointed to what crime was being contemplated in “The Red-Headed League.” The Red-Headed League was, in fact, the first clue that helped solve this mystery. The whole purpose of the Red-Headed League was to distract the pawnbroker from their operation.

An education can lead to a valuable set of skills. It did for Wes Moore, the author of The Other Wes Moore, Wes found another person with the exact same name as he and they both had different turning points in their life’s which resulted in one being in prison and the other writing a book about the whole thing. The author was motivated to do better even with his environment trying to tear him down. I can personally relate to this because I have begun to do the same with this semester of school. It also tells about the lost gothic girl, Anna Cayne, who meets the young high-school aged narrator. Throughout the postcards, a shortwave radio, various CDs, and many other irregular interest.
Alongside, Dr. Roylott has threatened Sherlock Holmes in a violent manner, in order to stay away from Helen Stoner. Ultimately, Sherlock Holmes was certain that Dr. Roylott murdered Julia Stoner, and wanted to kill Helen too, in order to keep his money. While Sherlock Holmes may have indirectly caused Dr. Roylott’s death, he cannot be held responsible for his demise. When the story begins, Helen Stoner is transferred to Julia’s room, due to unnecessary renovations in her own room. In the middle of the night, she is awoken by the low whistle Julia heard the eve of her death.
Watson made a plan with Helen that they would stay in a nearby hotel called the “Crown Inn”, and, after Dr. Roylott fell asleep, have Helen signal the two gentlemen with a light in her window. The two sleuths would sneak into the house and wait quietly for the whistle around 3 a.m. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson waited patiently in the corner of the room for the whistle to sound. Eventually, the time came around, and Sherlock Holmes saw a faint light through the ventilator and some movement in Dr. Roylott’s room. He also smelled burning oil and heated metal.
