William Heirens was born on November 15, 1928 at Evanston, Illinois. He grew up in Lincolnwood in chicago. When he was 11 years old he saw a couple making love and told his mother his mother told him all “sex was dirty, and would lead to diseases”. Afterwards while kissing his girlfriend he started crying and vomited. At age 13 he was found with a loaded gun and was arrested they searched heirens home and found more weapons hidden.

Hi, I’m Haley Fox, a detective for the “Virginia State Police Department.” Recently, it has been brought to my attention that a man, whom we do not know the name of, is going on a rampage, killing innocent people in their sleep. I’ve done some various research on this man, based on what we do know, which includes digging up some of his records here with the police department. Strangely enough, we’ve noticed that this isn’t the first time that this man has killed someone. This unexplained killing, and the reason behind the killing, has led us to believe that maybe this man is crazy.

but I didn’t want to seem weak in front of my friends. I chopped his head off with a single swipe and I and his head fell off. I laughed a little bit after it.. but that all changed when he leaned over and picked his head back up after it being off his ..body. I was terrified because I know my fate was sealed at that moment. In our modern culture we memorialize a lot of things. Things like the achievements of great thinkers from the past such as Martin Luther King Jr. and the founding fathers. Other things that we memorialize are the wars that we have fought in the past, honoring those that fought in them. All of the previously mentioned things are put on a wall, given their own special place, or they have a statue made of them. These things are great and they show that those people did a great thing in their life but let’s be honest, we need to cut it back a little bit.

“Killings” written by Andre Dubus is focused on the main character and protagonist Matt Fowler. Matt is the father of three known children in the story, Cathleen, Steve, and his youngest, Frank. Matt had his children with his wife and business partner Ruth Fowler. In the beginning of the story Matt is laying his youngest son, Frank, to rest in the cemetery after he was brutally murdered by the story’s main antagonist, Richard Strout. At the time of his death, Frank was in school and majoring in economics (63) and had a very bright future ahead of him, after all, he was only twenty eight years old.

In the year of 1997 to 2006, Robert Dominique killed at least 23 men that was account for. However, there is a substantial amount that is not account for. In the short story, “Killings” written by Andre Dubus a boy who goes by the name Frank is murdered. His murderers name is Richard Strout. While awaiting trial Frank 's father Matt Fowler decides to give Mr.Strout a punishment he felt was necessary.

This essay will examine the case study of the convicted serial killer Gary Ridgway, who was eventually caught and convicted for the murders 48 women. Ridgway, went on a killing spree of women without getting caught for over two decades, he went on to become the Green River Killer (Reichert, 2004). Section 1: Description of Jeffrey Dahmer Jeffrey Dahmer, the Milwaukee Cannibal, killed 17 homosexual boys and men. Jeffrey Dahmer’s case helped the study for medical and psychology fields. When he was born he was known as happy child but after getting a surgery to correct a double hernia it changed his personality completely making him more reserved. To cope, Dahmer started to dissect animals, abuse alcohol and developed antisocial tendencies. This case shocked and sickened many individuals due to the violent nature of the murders.
