On August 27th, 2011 it was cold and windy outside, for my first day of first grade was only minutes away. I was experiencing one immense fear of spiders at the time, whenever I saw one I screamed and ran away. Since my backyard is a prairie, I have seen spiders many times. Large, hairy, and disgusting basically defines spiders. Happily and excitedly I leaped off the bus, ready for my first day at McDole Elementary School, and when I entered room 132, I was greeted by my teacher. "Hi Jenna, I'm Mrs. Bright," she happily greeted me. "Hi!", I replied cheerfully. I discovered my bright pink name tag on a desk. On the way to my desk, I tripped over a chair and plopped onto the floor, I quickly jumped back up and seated myself. The buzzing of the lights as they turned on filled my ears with buzzing sounds. …show more content…
"Yes," everyone announced. The walls looked like a ton of white bricks stuck together. The next thing that was on the agenda was taking a tour around the room. We all walked around the room and she told us what and where everything was. Kind of like a tour at the zoo. Once we had finished the tour we realized we had to begin learning. Our class started with the first subject of the day, math. I looked on the big white board and written in pink marker said: Addition and Subtraction. I know how to add and subtract I confidently thought to myself. Far into our math lesson Mrs. Bright began screeching. We all jumped up in our chairs. Our eyes were all focused on
“Yes,” he said. “Yes. The wall is transparent, now. How extraordinary! I could almost see the atoms rearranging!”
She entered her class. Her books clutched as if that was her life support. The room felt ice cold. She wanted that nice warm jacket sitting in her locker. Goose bumps settled all over her arms.
This activity is appropriate for the toddler age group. The toddlers will create their own sun catchers. Provide different colors of tissue paper and show them how we tear the paper. Then provide contact paper with the sticky side up. The toddlers will place the paper they tore to the sticky side.

It was a ferociously gloomy day in the heart of Center City. The time of the observation was from 11:43 am to 12:43pm. Sandwiched between 15th street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard is the Philadelphia 's Municipal Services Building and within the plaza of the building lies Board Game Park. Even in the rain, the park was festive. Upon arriving, it began to drizzle.
According to developmental psychology a person at any age is at a certain stage of cognitive, moral, psychosocial, and physical development. This development is measured by different types of thinking, mental capacity for tasks, physical strength, and reasoning for following rules. Development is easily seen in children. Naturalistic observation is the one of the easiest method to see these developments in children. This is the observation technique I used, while watching a five year old male at Kindercare Daycare at 3:30 on a Friday.
In my last week in Wilkinson Middle School I was observing Classroom Procedures .Ms. Culberson is a very fun teacher but she is really strict in every one that enters her classroom knows that .Ms. Culberson might not be in the class whenever the bell rings but her students know to start in the bell ringer. She times her student and they all have to work quickly and quietly. They grade the bell ringer after words she asks for their grade and they have to say it out loud.
I observed at Carl Albert Middle first as my urban placement. Carl Albert Middle School is located in Midwest City, Oklahoma. I observed in Mrs. Moss’s 8th grade English Language Arts classes. Spiders really get a bad rap with most people, one that they just don 't deserve. Sure they 're a little bit freaky: anything with eight legs and a dazzling array of eyes triggers off a revulsion sense in most people. However there are a wide range of weird and inaccurate spider myths that paint these critters in a bad light. Debunking these myths should help you feel a little more comfort in their presence. Myth:
Many things pass my mind once I experience them, but this incident left me with a traumatizing repercussion. The first day of 7th grade had arrived, and I was terribly nervous. For as long as I could remember, I had always been that kid that got overly anxious for first days, or any type of social situation for that matter. My anxiousness was most probably fostered from the sheltered environment I grew up in. I was constantly ridiculously too shy to socialize or interact with new people.
I never thought I would get out of this class. “ I guess we can go play math kickball.” Mrs. perry said in a disappointed matter. Everyone wasn’t disappointed, but her all because she didn’t finish her lesson.

Go on take a look at your new room.” She said. All I could do was nod and walk inside. The doors flew open. The living room was amazing, it had a beautiful fire place, and a flatscreen TV, and the couch was so long and the color was tan.
When Mrs. Hippchen asked the students to raise their hands if they obtained the correct answer to a question, Alina raised her hand. At one point, Alina was called upon to solve a math problem. She incorrectly answered the question, however, with her teacher’s feedback, she was able to correct her answer. Mrs. Hippchen then instructed the class to clear their desks to start a new math activity. Alina followed her teacher’s direction.
