The NFL is one of the most popular sports down south. In the NFL there are lots of player that don’t succeed. Players in college play very hard to make it to the NFL. The NFL draft is a great thing they have come up with now so the sorry teams that are in the NFL can get some talent now. These are three NFL players that are known for their abilities on and off the football field.

Colin Kaepernick Kneels During Salute At Game. Colin Kaepernick a full time NFL player decided he wanted to Kneel during the national anthem because he was against the social injustice and racial profiling by cops in America mostly the cops in Colorado. Colin, who had never done this before or has ever protested against this before, sparked controversy around the country because people thought it was rude, controversial, a stunt and irresponsible use of his power with his fans. Since then Colin has joined protests against this and other big time and small players have since kneeled or sat down during the solute.

The National Football League is one of the most important leagues around the world. It doesn’t matter who is going to play. Tens of millions of people watch the games. The NFL is the most popular show on TV and obviously the sport that represents the American culture. In reality, the NFL is about a public business trying to generate capital gains from stadiums and TV.

A controversial topic currently circulating throughout the media and society, is professional athletes kneeling during the National Anthem. In my opinion, this is a completely useless, unnecessary action done just for attention. The theory behind the action is supposed to represent unity. Unity is not achieved by causing controversy, but it’s achieved by coming together and supporting each other when times get tough.

The National Anthem is something many Americans hold dear to their hearts. When football players started to kneel instead of stand with the others as a protest, Americans started to become angry. Football players should stand for the national anthem for the soldiers, to help unify America, and to find another way to protest. First of all, football players should stand for our soldiers. Our soldiers have fought for our country and they fight for our flag.

The current debate over kneeling or sitting in protest during the National anthem ignited by Colin Kaepernick in 2016 has escalated to become a nationally divisive issue. Colin Kaepernick, quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers refuse to stand during “the Star Spangled Banner” Aug. 2016, to protest against racial injustice and police brutality in the United States. These athletics that chose not to stand for the national anthem because there was a message they wanted to send. Needless to say, an individual has a right to believe as they so choose. Kaepernick along with many others feel that not standing for the national anthem is a peaceful way to protest and release their feelings.

Have you ever wondered why National Football League players, known as NFL players, make so much money? I think NFL players should continue to earn such high salaries for the reasons that follow; they entertain millions, risk getting life altering injuries, and create loads of revenue. To put the second reason into perspective, getting tackled by a 300 pound defensive lineman is comparable to getting in a car accident at 30 miles per hour without a seat belt on (Wisconsin Trooper Association). That can happen to just one player upwards of 20 times a game. National Football League players, known as NFL players; deserve as much money as they get because of how they entertain people.

The flag protest generates conversation and awareness about topic. "In a situation like that, people are seeing it. We can report it”(“If there’s protest, NBC…”). This shows that if NFL players are doing controversial things that news outlets will report it.

What does the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance mean to you? Land of the Free? Is America the Land of the Free? This has been a question that has been uprising lately as everyone is thinking about the importance of standing for the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance recently. Do you have to stand for the National Anthem?

NFL players should be role models not someone people feel ashamed of looking at on the T.V. screen. NFL players should be role models. When I watch football most of the time I see a lot of showboating. Sometimes it 's cool, but other times it just gets annoying. Some people do think that showboating isn 't really that bad unless you get a penalty.

Peaceful resistant to laws positively impacts our free society today in America because of many specific reasons. One being, it is protected under our first amendment, which allows the citizens of America to the right to petition. This right allows the people, which is what America in truth is all about, to petitions things they don´t like, or want done away with. In today's ever changing society, many people find things unjust, or unfair, and the only ways to deal with those at times is to go down the peaceful way of resisting laws. Now of course, not following a law, or breaking one is never truly the answer, but it takes only one person to make a difference, and at times, that is what is what the United States needs, a rule breaker.

During the first three preseason games of the 2016 NFL season, Colin Kaepernick formerly quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers sat through the national anthem in protest of police brutality towards African American individuals. When asked about it, Kaepernick said, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of colour.” News outlets immediately attacked

Overall, I support the NFL players they are focusing on the bigger issue that is in America. Everyone knows it, but does anyone else do something no. Many people are scared to use their voice because of the repercussions that occur. Our society needs to keep changing to satisfy all ethnicities and gender in our community.

The sun illuminates countless all-American names, with the occasional Coke or Papa John’s sponsor signs. The play clock ticks down to zero, and the stadium is finally filled to maximum capacity. Kickoff commences, players scramble across the field, and suddenly the only problems in the world hinge on if the Nike plastered football is past the downs marker. There are the elite suites high above the stadium cloaked in shade, but the majority are cramped and blisteringly hot. We are all united as one, cheering our team to victory, and thriving on the culture that is modern day sports.
