It’s difficult to imagine life without everything we have now. Electricity, indoor plumbing, telephones, and cars. All the result of the industrial revolution. The industrialization of America is a great thing. It fueled economies and improved world trade. which brings a sense of helpfulness and togetherness. If we would have remained an agrarian society, maybe more people would be able to take care of themselves. They would know how to live off of the land and be able to trade amongst themselves. They would know the value of hard work and care more for each other. Because of the advances in technology, we have become lazy and have a sense of entitlement even though most of us sit around and do absolutely nothing while looking for a hand out. We never would have become a world power and maybe Hitler would still be around. The Japanese would own Hawaii and the Communist would be dominating the world. In short, an agrarian society and an industrial society are two ends of a very broad spectrum. Industrialization is basically taking what mother nature has to offer by force. Which let’s face it, that’s all that human kind is about. I want what you have but I also want it better than what you have so let me have it or I’ll kill you. Whereas an agrarian society is more along the lines of the Indian tribes that were around before Europeans came and slaughtered

The society nowadays consists of different jobs and people from different areas, but they were not like that in the late 1800s. Most Americans lived on farms. When things started changing for farmers from what they were growing to how they borrowed money due to the radical policies, consequences were brought to the farmers as the radical politics started changing farmer’s life. One of the consequences is that the farmers are no longer dependent on themselves. In earlier times, farmers grew their own food, made their own tools, and were generally self-sufficient.

While it brought about some positive effects, such as increased production and higher wages for some, the negative aspects of industrialization were profound and pervasive. One of the major negative aspects of industrialization during the Gilded Age was the exploitation of workers. Many workers were paid extremely low wages, and they were forced to work long hours in unsafe and unhealthy working conditions.
Between 1865 and 1900, Industrialization changed the way America continued about advancing. It brought about industries such as the railroads, steel and oil that generated jobs and opportunities, as well as economic wealth. Although these times were great for some - mainly the millionaires gaining fortune from their businesses and poor immigrants who found better lives in America than there were in their home countries - others, like the farmers and industrial workers, found a hard time making a living in the new, fast paced America. Farmers and industrial workers responded to the cruelness of industrialization by politically, financially, and socially.
The industrial revolution had positive effects on the economy as a whole, but also had a negative impact on farmers, the middle-class, and the working-class. The farmers underwent many

Industrialization was a huge turning and growing point for the United States. It helped shape the United States and the world we live in today. The building and growth of railroads from 1865 to 1900 played a very crucial role in American society which cannot be underemphasized. The Industrial Revolution, lasting from the late 1700s until the early 1900s, was possibly one of the greatest time periods in this world’s history. This time period caused people to think more and dream bigger. From these big dreams rose up inventors, entrepreneurs, and business owners. The Industrial Revolution brought many new inventions and production processes, but along with great new things come great terrible horrors. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because of the new production methods and what they produced, it was actually a negative thing for society.

Before the advancement in medicine if a person was in a coma then they were thought dead, and usually buried alive.

Without a doubt, industrialization was one of the biggest factors in how the United States developed. It gave us the means of mass production, better transportation, and eventually the consumerist society that the United States is today. Industrialization did drastically change American society, but did it change America for the better? Did it do more good than bad? While industrialization did lead to multiple social and economic problems, the advantages significantly outweigh the disadvantages.
The time period from when the Second Industrial Revolution was beginning, up until President McKinley’s assassination in 1901, is known as the Gilded Age. After the Civil War, many people headed out West to pursue agriculture, and many immigrants moved to urban areas to acquire jobs in industrial factories. It is in this context that farmers and industrial workers had to respond to industrialization. Two significant ways farmers and industrial workers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age, were creating the Populist Party and the American Federation of Labor (AFL).
In conclusion the Agricultural Revolution had a positive effect on human civilization. This is because new jobs were opened up, because of more spare time, which helped simple technologies be developed. Humans also learned how to control their animals and plants. Despite what others may say, many positive effects on human civilization came from the Agricultural Revolution. Also, without the Agricultural Revolution humans would not have been able to develop technology and learn how to domesticate animals as quickly.
