Purified water is essential for living a healthy life as such everyone should have access to it. Drinking water conditions have great impacts on people especially in the rural and remote areas where access to safe drinking water is very important. Drinking untreated water may cause to fatal diseases. Statistics shows that these diseases resulted in ninety percent of all deaths of children under five years old in developing countries, due to low immunization of children to infection. Most of the people in the rural areas are not able enough to use water filters or buy mineral water bottles. To overcome this problem many efforts have been done due to which cleaning water may become an affordable commodity. The best way is to provide

It prevents the spread of water borne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, typhoid, etc. Whereas Nalgonda and Prasanthi Technique is a method used for defluoridation. Fluoride in drinking water can be beneficial or detrimental to human health depending on the concentration. Fluorides to a level of 1mg/l has been shown to reduce dental cavities among children. When water supplies contain excessive fluoride concentration, the teeth of most young consumers become spotted with a permanent black or grey discoloration. Children who have been drinking water containing 5mg/l or more of fluoride may eventually lose their teeth due to the effect. Bone changes and crippling fluorosis may also result from long term consumption of fluoridated water. A study from the Harvard school of Public Health found exposure to fluoride as a child correlated with lower IQ. However, no known deterious effects of drinking fluoridated water have been observed when the concentration of fluoride is kept within prescribed limits.
Most of the drinking water source for small communities in Mizoram are spring and river water. As Mizoram is a hilly area which gets higher quantity of rain and no such big industries which poses threat to the water source are yet present, the water quality is very good compared to other regions. These makes it much easier in the drinking water supply

According to the website I read “ putting fluoride in the water decreased the number of cavities in children.” Fluoride is actually in water and foods already. When cities add fluoride to the water not only are the adults all getting the same amount of fluoride in one glass of water but the children get the same amount as the adults. The adults might drink more water than the children but per glass of water it is distributed evenly.
Drinking contaminated water can cause different types of cancers and also infertility and birth defects due to of the presence hazardous chemicals. Impoundments that have not been built or properly closed off have led to the death of many animals and also health issues in
Recent studies have shown that the water in Flint, Michigan has been contaminated by a horrible health impact, lead. This has happened because nearly two years ago, the state of Michigan decided to save money by switching Flint’s water supply from Lake Huron, to the Flint River a notorious tributary that runs through town known to locals for its filth. This has led to many terrible effects shown in both children and adults. The many effects lead has on children and adults are very drastic if not taken care of properly they could have lifetime effects. Dangerous effects lead can lead to that effect children.
Water fluoridation is the controlled addition of fluoride to public water systems to help prevent tooth decay and cavities. According to the Livescience website, fluoride operates on
Water from the Nile River is immensely toxic or unhealthy, but when but through cleaning systems like a filter can change that. The very scarce but clean water can provide the proper nutrients to defeat and prevent waterborne
They thought that fluoride could help keep teeth healthy and prevent decay; however the fluoride came back and dropped everyone’s IQ level. The U.S put the fluoride into the water
Around the globe every minute a child dies because of water-related disease, Women spend hours walking to collect water, it has been estimated 1 in 9 people lack access to safe water, hospital bed spaces are occupied majorly people related to water-borne diseases. Clean water is essential for both mental and physical development. Lead in tap water causes many birth defects. Thousands of contaminants are present in tap water which are even poisonous. For every spent on water and sanitation there is a double return to the economic.
I have seen instances where some of my colleagues have become sick from drinking tap water around the city. No matter where it is such as at their schools such as Pensacola State College or the University of West Florida, at their homes, or in public spots such as restaurants people have noticed that the water is extremely unsanitary. A quote from the DailyFinance article portrays this exactly “Of the 101 chemicals tested for over five years, 45 were discovered. Of them, 21 were discovered in unhealthy amounts. The worst of these were radium-228 and -228, trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene, alpha particles, benzine and lead.
Tucson water Tucson, Arizona is a city of 526,116 people and they are all supplied water from the same organization Tucson water. The water has restrictions on what contaminants can be inside the water, but what are the effects of the contaminants which they do not have restrictions on. If they have a mixture of Nitrate-N, Sodium, and Fluoride inside the water then it will cause harm to Caenorhabditis Elegans (C elegans) because the possible large amounts inside the water. C elegans are very similar to humans cellular wise and they are often being used in medical testing and research before moving onto larger subjects.
The major concern has been to develop cost-effective methods of desalination so as to provide quality water even in areas that have limited access to the fresh water. Therefore
Too much chemicals in the water like lead, sulfur, chloride and fluoride can cause birth defects, cancer, Flu like symptoms. The chemicals in the water are supposed to provide a level of sanitation to the water. The issue with this though is that the chemicals added cannot be taken out of the water people drink. Every community has a water sample chart for what goes into their water. This was create by the federal government to provide the population with info about what is in the water.
This is especially the opinion and suggestion of all bottling companies. According to Doria (2006), the convenience associated with the bottled water is because bottled water is portable. In addition, Doria (2006) notes that bottled water is always available and can be bought in any destination. A company like Nestle sells water in almost all countries. Besides, as indicated by Arnold & Larsen (2006), there is a general perception that the tap water goes under thorough purification before the actual packaging.
Stop Taking Clean Water for Granted Can you stop for a moment and think what would happen if we didn’t have water; clean water? It seems impossible, as we use water to drink, cook, clean, grow things, and for everything else in life. Unfortunately, because of the easy access to one of the most plentiful, and most valuable resources in the world, some people take water for granted. In contrast, other poor people live in places where the only easy way to get water is from a dirty irrigation ditch. Or their only source of water is backyard faucet shared by several homes.
On top of reducing acidification, it also reduces the toxic effects of metals such as aluminium, copper, lead, nickel and zinc which can put fish and other aquatic organisms at risk. By neutralizing acid waters and reducing toxic dissolved metals, liming can help improve reproduction and survival of aquatic life and promote healthy, balanced fish populations. The calcium in lime dissolved in water can help benefit mussels and crayfish by developing their protective shells. It can also promote scale formation, bone development, and growth in
