Friendship In Freak The Mighty

Max help Kevin out a lot because when they were in the street way but Max learned to stand up for himself and Kevin because he started to care about him and himself as well. He started to protect his friends and not be afraid of anyone. Just started to care about people and Kevin kept going on. Max would do anything for Kevin because he knew that Kevin had a problem like in the lunchroom when Kevin started choking and Max saved Kevin's life. It just shows how much Max cares about Kevin as a friend to him and not just a person but like a brother.

so they became forever friends. In both the movie and the book Freak dies because his heart grew too big for his little body. Both the book and the movie are amusing. Both Freak and Max were bullied. Both in the book and the movie Max had a disorder with his body that prevented him from playing sports.

In paragraph 50/51 the text says The boys asked Max if he had been crying “Naw” he said “there was the water dripping from the tunnel roof but you said don’t move right?” “Well I was just being obedient.” This shows that this is important because it’s showing that he’s acting tough

He then uses his friends words to prove his response. This shows that Max struggles to be tough. It is important because it proves he struggles with being tough. This proves he is struggling to be tough because Max was crying on the train and didn’t want to prove it because he thinks his friends will think he is not tough if he

Friendship is strong and can last a lifetime. In John Green's “Freak the Geek “a girl has Has problems in Hoover Prep School with older girls. She uses the power of friendship to get through tough times with her best friend. Lauren makes in through challenges and the struggles of Hoover Prep School with the power of friendship. This friendship leads to her being able to cope with the school and helps her build bravery at the same time.

Max has his meeting with the principle, then soon after Freak chokes on food. Also, the novel and the movie both have or show Max living with Gram and Grim. There is also Freak naming the elements of the fireworks show while sitting on Max’s shoulders. They find Loretta’s purse in the drain.

I say that because whenever one of them is in trouble they combine their strength to get out of situations. The only problem with that is that Max does not have mental strength and Freak doesn’t have muscle. All these instances show Rodman Philbrick highlighting the theme of external conflict bringing them together. Other characters don’t understand Freak or Max’s problems; they just judge them for what attributes they lack. There was one time when Max was abducted by Killer Kane and Freak came to save the day by tricking Killer Kane that there was acid in his gun, and he squirted it on his eye, tricking him that he will turn out to be blind because of it.

Imagine that you were considered freaks like Kevin and Max because of your freakish attributes. One super tall, strong and dull and the other short, frail, and intelligent, as one they are Freak the Mighty. Throughout the story Max and Kevin show their individuality, but they are also similar in the fact that they are both considered freaks. Even though Max and Kevin have somethings that are similar they are different in strength, and personality. These differences help complete Freak the Mighty because they have things that the other one does not.

In the novel Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, Stacey’s perspective of friendship with T.J. and Jeremy is unique and this affects the decisions he makes in Chapter 7. Stacey allows T.J. to do almost anything around him, even though T.J. is rude and naughty. But, T.J. is still Stacey’s best friend. Stacey is pretty rude to Jeremy even though Jeremy is super nice to the Logans and T.J.’s family. Stacey’s friendship with these two boys are very different.
