Women’s Rights Movement

Second-wave feminism of the sixties and seventies made huge leaps for women’s rights and gender equality. Women once again were fighting for gender equality, but this time, the movement encompassed a much broader array of issues women face. A major goal of the movement was protection from employment discrimination.
