George Washington: A Brief Biography

This book is an impressive biography of Washington's remarkable dedication to the United States history. According to the author, George Washington is an omnipresent figure as he was growing up, described as the man in the moon who was aloof and silent. This book focuses on Washington's wartime service which became some of his major contributions to the United States, rather than merely telling the true story of Washington, its main thesis is focusing on analyzing his contributions and how his governorship had affected the American history. Washington's life is divided into three areas in this book.

George Washington By Benji George Washington (February 22, 1732 to December 14, 1799) was a military general and the first president of the United States of America. His military career started when he was 21 in 1753. He was sent to Ohio during the French and Indian war to protect British land. When the French took over Fort Necessity he helped to get the fort back. On June 15, 1775 Washington became commander of the Continental Army.

George Washington served as a blueprint for the coming presidents. George Washington was born in 1732 in Virginia and died 1799. Washington grew up in Virginia, at a time when it was a royal colony with the British monarch as the head of government by nobility and an economy based on growing and exporting tobacco. He became a surveyor but soon turned to the military as a way to realize his ambition. As a soldier he demonstrated enough courage and willpower to become the commander of the Virginia troops that garrisoned the state's western frontier during the French and Indian War.

George Washington was America’s most essential man. He experienced the loss of his father at a young age, yet he became a successful plantation owner, a major in the Virginia militia, a politician, a general and the first president of the United States of America. Though he experienced many adversities in life he was able to take these experiences and use them to better a country. George Washington created a new government for the United Sates of America in his own image which was moral, fair and responsible because of his own life experiences as a general, politician and entrepreneur. Thomas Jefferson was born and raised in Shadwell, Virginia. He was born April 13, 1743. Thomas Jefferson lived with his father, Peter Jefferson, his mother, Jane Randolph Jefferson, and his 10 siblings where he is the eldest. The order of his siblings from oldest to youngest: Jane, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Peter, Unnamed, Lucy, Anna, and Randolph.

George also learned more about history and geography but lacked knowledge of literature and foreign languages, and George Washington did not know much about history such as Thomas Jefferson or James Madison. His father died when he was in this late 40's after that George Washington was very sad he was close to his father people say that he grew over night and became a lot more mature. In July, 1752, George Washington's brother Lawrence died. Washington thought that farming was amazing and a honor. Washington when he was a child he had a dream to be a commander ad a sailor this dream came true. He was really tall and a very strong boy.

Augustine Washington married a woman named Janet Butler and proceeded to have three children, none of whom being George Washington himself. Due to the death of Augustine’s first wife, he remarried to Mary Ball, and had George Washington, their first child together on February 22, 1732, on their plantation in Westmoreland County, Virginia. In 1738, the family was moved for the second time to Ferry Farm where George lived most of his youth.

James Madison was Born on March 16, 1751, in Port Conway. During his life time he served two terms as the nation 's 4th president. James Madison grew up in Orange County, Virginia, were He was the oldest of 12 children; however, only seven lived into adulthood. James father was a successful farmer who owned thousands of acres, along with dozens of slaves. He attended a boarding school for five years, and then attend the College of New Jersey—now known as Princeton University.

George Washington began his life as a civilian man

Although unrelatable and underappreciated in the eyes of modern history, George Washington shows his greatness through his character. Contemporary culture often neglects to recognise Washington’s greatness. Sadly, he has become a figure so far removed from the ideals and lives of modern Americans, that his name often provokes boredom. Nonetheless, his character proved to be perfect for what America needed during his life. His greatness was largely due to chance.
