As I read in the preface of The War that Made America by Fred Anderson, I learned that “George Washington struck the first spark of a war that set the British North American frontier ablaze. ”(Preface) He was a 21 year old man who was raw and ambitious when he was sent to Ohio. Washington had no idea of the pivotal figure he would become in the start of the French and Indian War, also known as the Seven Years War, and how it would change the face of America.

Washington is a well-respected general that fought during the Revolutionary War and was the first president of The United States of America. Although, they were very courageous the bravest person is Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks had refused to give up her seat to a white passenger. Stated she had done this because “I was tired of giving in” (Parks). Park's actions on the bus were an

George Washington plays a very important part in the American Revolution. Throughout the Revolutionary war, he was ordered by Congress to be the commander in chief of the Continental Army. Washington had little experience in leading such a big army. Although he actually showed that he was actually able to control and lead the Continental Army. George Washington and his army won battles like the Battle of Yorktown in 1781 and the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

John Quincy Adams once said; “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." George Washington inspired the people of the United States to become more than colonists, but to become patriots that would fight for their rights and the rights of others.

George Washington 's journey through the French and Indian war began only right before the war. At the point when George Washington was sent to the Ohio Valley, he was only twenty-one years old, and went to confront the French, ascending in numbers in that specific district. He was sent there because at that location, the Ohio River was connected to the Mississippi River, and was an integral part to trade.

If I had to pick who was my favorite historical figure or the one that made the greatest contributions to society during the Age of Revolution, my choice would be John Adams. Adams’ writings fought for the rights of American colonists. He was viewed as one of America 's important constitutional scholars. No other man worked as hard or played as important as role in the movement for independence. One of the ways John Adams contributed to the American Revolution was by serving in both the First and the Second Continental Congresses.

“George Washington Carver” Is George Washington Carver a significant role model in how we live now? Did he make an impact on our world to make new products with extra ingredients instead of wasting them? Yes, he did. He impacted the future by making over three hundred new inventions and taught others how to properly lean towards a more equal agricultural system. There may be others who think by him making new inventions just wasted money and farmland to make more uses for food and many just use it to fertilize the soil or make other products.

George Washington was a great leader. “He respected all his men and listen to their ideas one by one.” This makes happy his men to be treated with respect to be listening. They feel like humans. Doing this make people want to work that help run well the United States.

Although unrelatable and underappreciated in the eyes of modern history, George Washington shows his greatness through his character. Contemporary culture often neglects to recognise Washington’s greatness. Sadly, he has become a figure so far removed from the ideals and lives of modern Americans, that his name often provokes boredom. Nonetheless, his character proved to be perfect for what America needed during his life. His greatness was largely due to chance.
