Of all the evil that ever took place in the world one that is very well know is the Holocaust. It was one of the cruelest and dehumanizing things that ever took place in the world. It was a way to not only torture the Jews but to destroy them mentally and physically. Merriam Webster defines "Holocaust" as a sacrifice consumed by fire. Germans thought of themselves as naturally superior towards the Jews whom they considered naturally

He wanted a "pure" empire and for that to happen Jews were not to be a part of it nor of anything. He killed them because he thought it was his moral obligation or that God would have wanted him to do the same. He blamed the Jews for their loss in the world war one which was not true but many of his people believed him because he was their leader who wanted best for his people. By telling his people that the Jews were responsible for their huge loss he created an enemy. He did this as probably a comeback to let his people know that he was still powerful and to get reelected. He let them know that the Jews would suffer for they did and so he would become a hero among his own. Hitler mostly targeted people that went against the social norms for instance homosexuals, gypsies and more. He banished them from jobs, universities and sis not let them run businesses and he mentally and physically tortured them for not only his own personal reasons but also to create a unity among the Germans so they found a common enemy to turn up …show more content…
It does not have to be something big for it to be evil. Society or people dont get to define either something is evil or not. Merriam Webster describes evil as either "morally bad," or "causing harm or injury to someone," or marked by bad luck or bad events." According to these definitions it does not take something hugely immoral to be considered evil. Bullying and/or cyber bullying is just as evil as something as big as murder because it threatens someone or harms them mentally. Anonymity cause many to leave such racist and mean comments that really mess with the victims brain causing them to feel either horrible or in worst cases suicidal. Same is the case with the mean gossip that many teenagers and adults take a part in. It kills one's self esteem and can also cause long term mental effects and again in extremely worst case scenarios suicide. Blackface was a tradition by actors that played African American roles based on stereotypes. They used to paint their face black with either grease or burnt crock and wear worn out clothes just to represent a African American man or woman. It was considered normal and even funny by many from the late eighteen hundreds but now it is just considered immoral and dehumanizing. Back then slavery was also considered normal because it was like to kill two birds with one stone. The rich had people to show their superiority to and
The holocaust was one of the worst genocides that has happened to one race in the last 100 years it lead to the deaths of 6 million to 17 million jews. There are not that many people still alive that got saved for it because of the exprempit they were put through the time they were in the camps dieing. One of many ways the nazis killed so many jews was gas chambers and pizza type ovens they had mounds of people from the gas chambers piled up in the millions. When they got saved they had to did massov graves and use a bulldozer to get all the bodys in to the grave. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel there are many instes of dehumanizing for example they had to be put in to the cattle cars.
During the holocaust, The Nazis used a form of treatment towards the Jews to make them feel less and less human it was called dehumanization. This means to deprive someone of their human like qualities and merely make them feel like a “thing” that gets in peoples way. They used this method to make it seem like the Nazis were doing them a favor, they were killing the jews to “purify” germany in their eyes. To begin, some inmates at the concentration camps (mostly the newer ones) were usually told that if they were fifteen, “No. you're eighteen” (Wiesel 133).
Kriti Dulal Mr. Wonders, 3B March 22, 2023 Written Segment - Professional Theologist The Holocaust was an awful time in history. It was cruel, unfair, and inhumane. During this period of time, European Jews were killed and tortured by the German Nazis. This horrific event lasted from 1941 to 1945, but the effects that it had on the world will never be forgotten.
He published a book many years later, to tell his side of the story. The Holocaust was an extermination plan for the Jewish faith and its followers. The Holocaust was under the control of a Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler. Hitler was an anti-Semite, meaning he not only had hatred towards the Jews but he showed it as well. As of today, the Holocaust genocide by far, was the most horrifying event for the Jews as well as the nation.
Adolf Hitler could possibly be the worst politician of all time after causing the death of millions of innocent people. Before the Holocaust Jews had the right to Religion, the right to own their own businesses, and have jobs. The only things they had to follow were the regulations of the law in Germany at that time, just like any other human being. But, after Hitler came into power things started to change drastically.
Introduction: During the Holocaust, many people suffered from the despicable actions of others. These actions were influenced by hatred, intolerance, and anti-semitic views of people. The result of such actions were the deaths of millions during the Holocaust, a devastating genocide aimed to eliminate Jews. In this tragic event, people, both initiators and bystanders, played major roles that allowed the Holocaust to continue. Bystanders during this dreadful disaster did not stand up against the Nazis and their collaborators.
He tortured Jews and kept them in concentration camps to meet there doom. Many families where split up away from their loved ones, but they still had hope that they would be alive and that they will see each other in the end of the war. But in this fact most were wrong. Adolf Hitler was one of the most diabolical human beings to have ever existed on this planet; people know that he killed Jews. He hated them with ever part of his being, but people do not realize that he did human experimentation on them.
During this time 6,000,000 Jews were killed, not by war, but rather at the hands of Germany. Hitler believed that Jews were an inferior race and was a threat to German purity. After years of being mistreated Hitler had a plan called the Final Solution, which was the attempt to extinct the entire Jewish Population. Germany would accomplish this by concentration camps that were set up in Poland.
It was during this time that he noticed the unfair treatment that the Nazi party was inflicting on the Jewish people. He was furious and wanted to see things change. Adolf Hitler started the Nazi party for people who were
The article, “Teens Against Hitler”, by Lauren Tarshis describes the challenges Ben Kamm fought while fighting with the the partisans in WWII and the courage he had while doing it. Ben wanted to continue living in his apartment with his family and play with his friends every day. But, the German troops forced them into a ghetto with 400,000 other jews.
Also, he sent those who were not Nazi to the concentration camp, this caused a lot of people, mainly the Jews, to emigrate. Hitler even blamed the Jews for the defeat of World War One. Hitler was an anti-communist and anti-capitalism person, he wanted to build a classless community. Hitler took absolute control to Germany, no matter which aspect. He washed out all the people who were not having the same view as him.
In short, he planned to rid Europe of all of the Jews. However, some people would begin to oppose Hitler’s “Final Solution”.
Evil is unique to each individual, how people were raised and what they were exposed to will alter their definition of evil. However, people generally agree that homicide, rape, torture, genocide, and terrorism are all evil. Causing agony or suffering is considered evil. Manipulating the weak or manipulating children, in any way, is considered evil. Despite our societal understanding that these acts are evil and that evil is bad, we witness evil nearly every day.
Hitler wanted to improve what was wrong in his perspective, and it was that Jews should have not been around. He did
The Problem of Evil The main problem with evil is “this is a serious objection to the existence of God” (Kreeft, P. 2013). This objection to God is destroying people, lives, families, and relationships. Evil makes people do bad things, even good people fall victim to evil thoughts, actions, and words. It works against people to cause problems between families, parents, husbands and wives, siblings, and other loved ones.
