How Did The French And Indian War Lead To A Point For A Revolution

The French and Indian War altered many relations between Britain and American colonies. After the war, the English ended up with more land just as well as the Russians, while the French lost most of it, and the Russians expanded just a little bit more. After 1763, English colonies had dominated the new world. The English debt had lead to taxation that colonist found unfair, and this made them change their perspective on how they looked at the world or as they called it, “mother nature”. When the English colonies dominated the new world it took a toll on the relationship with the American colonist and Britain and that led to the Proclamation of 1763.

There are many debates that post to the French and Indian War, the colonist progressed a filling emotion of "division" from the Britain Crown and that is why they were more Pro-America and felt hate for the English. This pure emotion quickened right after fighting broke out; but it t’was not the actual justification the colonists rebelled in the first place. The reason the redcoats lost is due to the fact that King George III and Parliament schemed their way into a military stand-off with the thirteen colonies, when a gov’t based solution would've been less expensive in the long run and much more efficient in keeping the loyalty of some American colonists. Had the British gov’t payed attention to some of its prideful members, who taught the art of respect and bring into agreement our English kin in the thirteen colonies," the war could have been out of the question and avoided. This was not situation that played out to be, however, some British Tories didn’t mind.

The French and Indian War Paved the Way to American Revolution As Europeans settled the New World, they encountered difficulties that they had not perceived before. The first of which was the Native Americans who were not thrilled with the idea of giving up their ancestral land for European settlement. So, it was not a surprise when conflict arise between the Natives and the Europeans. Because the Europeans brought over diseases that were fatal to the Natives and had more developed weaponry, they were successful in pushing the Natives into the interior of North America. Most immigrants from Great Britain settled near the east coast and as the settlement began to grow, industries and plantations became the main source of wealth in the new colonies.

It is our opinion that the event that most significant role in causing the revolutionary war was the French and Indian war because, during our research we found that the French and Indian war was the cause of a American revolution because of disputes over subsequent frontier policy and paying the war’s expenses led to colonial discontent. There was more causes than just the French and Indian war it was all the taxes from the stamp act as well as the sugar act that put a large amount of taxes that the british tried to collect taxes that the american people considered harsh, and what led to the revolutionary war. The cause of the sugar act is protests against the sugar Act developed it was the economic impact rather the constitutional issue

The revolution war is important and significant to mention in this presentation since it allowed the colonies to form a united government known as the United States of America (Bailyn 12). The war lasted from 1775 up to 1783 that left many people dead but placed the country on the path of independent governance. The conflict was due to the tension that existed between the thirteen North American colonies and their colonizers, the Great Britain. The people of the colonized America were not happy with the terms and conditions imposed on them by the colonial government, and as a result, they sought resurgence to drive them away to establish self-rule. Other sympathizers joined the war, for example, France joined the war in 1778, which led to the great Britain being defeated in 1781, though the war continued until 1783.

Another reason why the colonists were enraged with the British was due to the fact they made treaties with the Native Americans. This treaty was named The 1763 Royal Proclamation and it opposed the colonists’ expansion at the expense of the Native Americans. Basically the British government tried to limit how far the colonists could expand and the colonists did not have sympathy for the idea of the Crown’s responsibilities for agreements with the Native Americans. The colonists thought they were entitled to the land and the government over seas did not understand their need and desire for expansion. In fact the colonists did not respect this proclamation and flat out refused to follow it.

The French and Indian War, also called the Seven Years’ War in England, was a battle between the British and the French, along with the Indians. This battle was a war on who would own the Ohio territory, and who would surrender the fight. The French and Indian War, to a great extent, is an important turning point to American and British people. Before the war, Great Britain wasn’t very strict on the colonies.

Before the beginning of the war of independence, the tension between the colonist and england were increased because of the massacre of Boston that was an event in Massachusetts, where colonist and england break their relationship through the manipulation of propaganda or “spin”. Soldiers from england were standing in front of a government building, when the bostonians attack because they were thinking that the soldiers was there because they want to charge more taxes as a result soldiers react to them, and 5 bostonians end up dead. And that was called the massacre of boston, that was a big deal because of the propaganda and the spin that was given to the people did not tell the true of the event, the people imagine all the event by Paul Revere's

The road to the American Revolution was long and complex, with no single cause. Instead, it was the result of a long series of events that built upon each other, resulting in the belief that the colonies did not belong with Great Britain. The Revolution was caused by the impacts of the French and Indian war, Parliament’s continuous taxation without representation, the events that occurred as a result of the acts, Parliament’s retaliation to the colonists’ protests, and most importantly, the development of a sense of independence by the colonists. The French and Indian War was a major cause of the American Revolution with several factors stemming from it.

That is until the French and Indian War from 1754-1763. France and England have been bitter rivals for a long time. With the discovery of new land, both competed to develop settlements there to claim a stake for their country. The French teaming up with Native tribes decided to attack the British colonies to take control of the land. England stepping up like a parental figure sent troops and supplies over to protect its teenager.

The Revolutionary War resulted from an increased tension between Great Britain and her colonies because of elected officials, western land dispute, mercantilism. Great Britain was by far the strongest country in the 18th century and was still growing, while the colonies were just getting started. Great Britain was alarmed by the colonies new methods of life and growing success. For example, having a democracy rather than a monarchy. The colonies new ways of life and success began to brew the tensions between Great Britain and her colonies.

The American Revolution The French and Indian War impacted the American Revolution in many ways. Britain incurred a large debt from the cost of the war and the taxes that they imposed on the colonists created feelings of anger and rebellion that led to the revolution. As a result of the French and Indian war, the British were not at full strength which allowed the actions of the colonists to be more effective. Because of the outcome of the war, France was willing to help the colonists. Without the much needed help from the French the colonist may have never won the war.

The French and Indian War was important to the American Revolution because the debt from the war was the reason that Parliament started taxing the colonists. Also, the French and Indian War made Britain very weak, making the colonists’ actions work a whole lot better. Since France was not happy with the outcome of their war with Britain this was a main reasons for France’s interest in helping the now Americans throughout the Revolutionary War, which was very important to the colonies’ victory. ​The reason why Britain started to tax the colonists was because of the debt resulting from the French and Indian War. The first tax was the the tax on sugar, which was put on the colonists to help pay off the war debt.

The people of America (colonists) were tired of being controlled by England. They wanted to be free and independent. They believed that they were able to control themselves and be their own country. They wanted England to let go of their control and to view them as independent and their own country.

Also, England was surprised with the Colonies’ less than enthusiastic response to having to fight in the war. This was the beginning of factors leading up to the American Revolution. The Indians fighting on either side were- The Algonquians fought for the French, while the Iroquis Confederacy fought for the English.
