In today’s contemporary society integrity is what businesses strive for. Businesses strive for integrity because they want to attract more customers whether it be clients or potential business partners. There are many definitions and meanings to the word integrity. According to the Business Dictionary, “integrity is defined as a strict adherence to a moral code, reflected in transparent honesty and complete in what one thinks, says, and does.” (). According to Martin Zwilling, there are “Five Ways to See If Your Business Integrity is Showing”, the five that he listed are: Meeting commitments, being honest to faults, having a strong and consistent moral code, treating everyone with respect and lastly, building and maintaining trust.” (Forbes.com). Overall, integrity in business requires an entrepreneur to have certain characteristics that illustrate that they have integrity such as being able to meet deadlines, being able to establish trust, being honest and having good moral character. When an individual such as an entrepreneur runs a business they have certain deadlines they have to meet. This is important because it helps businesses and persons in the business determine what is right and wrong and what would be ethical. According to W. Brett Wilson, “having an idea of ethics is essential to have in the business industry.”(). W.
