Jackie robinson made a big difference in baseball history.He was the first african americn to play baseball and he broke the color barrier in 1947 allowing african americans to play Major League Baseball. Jackie Roninson had a big role in Maajor League baseball and made a big change over the years for those who played baseball. As jackei robinson continued growing up and playing baseball, the Brooklyn Dodgers captured six national league pennants with him being rookie of the year.

Jackie Robinson was born on January 31st, 1919, in Cairo GA, but grew up in Pasadena California. Jckie Robinson lived in a family of six people.He had four siblings named Mack,Frank,Edgar, and Willa Mae. Jackie robinson met a nurse in trainging named Rachel isum robinson when they both attended the university of california in Los angels,They ended up geting married and having four kids from the tme they were married till the time he died. Robinson won the National League Rookie of the Year award his first season, and helped the Dodgers to the National League championship. During jackie robinsons career which was spent most at second base, they won one national league championship and continued for more. After having athletic ability during high school and junior college, he succeeded at baseball, football, basketball, and track at the University of California at Los Angeles and became the first student at his school to earn four letters in one year.
