Knee To Knee Club

Bethel Baptist Church never encountered a challenge like this before. The church accepted an invitation to participate in a mission in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Making an appearance in a foreign environment terrified both adolescents and adults. Even with those uneasy feelings, the congregation quickly zeroed in on the goal at hand in spreading God’s love to this needy region. With events such as church cleanup, food ministry, and disaster relief, the church left with a greater appreciation of life, and how lucky many of the citizens in the United States truly are.

Coaching the Del City Bible Quiz team has been a life-changing experience from the beginning. When I founded the team in early April, my father, a pastor, was nearing the end of his eight-month transition from senior pastor to interim pastor to layperson. This lengthy process involved numerous churches across Oklahoma as well as the unfortunate loss of several friendships. Luckily, the Bible Quiz team became a source of new friendships that helped me through the tough transition.

This experience helped me more about being the head of an organization. Being about of this club is very beneficial because it is basic preparation of becoming a leader. Being a leader of an organization such a DECA speaks volumes

The topic this past week that will be most beneficial to my ministry is the session with Commissioner Fred Ruth. Commissioner Ruth’s officership was more than a wonderful story; it was account of life that put pride aside, was completely available, and of someone who was fully obedient to his calling. There were many points made by Commissioner Ruth that I will consider for my ministry as an officer. The first point made was that “one would never know the impact that we can make, if we make ourselves available.”

Pearson’s church quickly fell apart. He lost most of his members and the church’s building. Since then Pearson has been rebuilding his ministry, New Dimensions, and preaching the Gospel of Inclusion.

Another victorious year, another grand celebration; we reverence God for the gift he has blessed Greater Zion Temple with in the person of you, Pastor and First Lady Rhodes, God has truly bless you with courage and boldness in carrying out His inspired vision and purpose in this church. The years have passed swiftly, but your work in the kingdom has not diminished. Today as we celebrate another year of dedicated service, there are not enough words to adequately express our deep love and profound respect for you. We deeply appreciate the pattern of good works you have model for the members of Greater Zion Temple.

I became the president of this club in 2015, and have continued to be selected as the president each year since. During my time as president of this club, many conflicts have arisen, and have taught me how important it is to communicate and be open to what others have to say. This could contribute to the Baird community by allowing me to reach out to others when they are in conflict in order to help them resolve it, along with helping me be open to constructive criticism to be able to grow. Another experience that I feel represents what the Baird community represents was when I volunteered for a year at my school as a teacher's aide in a special needs adaptive physical education class. In this class, I helped students with physical and mental disabilities learn how to overcome their

The book highlights the beauty and value of expressing love physically and emotionally. It also emphasizes the importance of mutual respect and communication between partners to achieve true intimacy. Moreover, the Song of Songs teaches that sexual expression between a husband and wife is a gift from God that should be celebrated and enjoyed in a way that honors Him. In light of the importance of Christian relationships and the emphasis on intimacy in the Song of Songs, we can conclude that, as Christians, we have to prioritize our relationships with others and our relationship with God. This means we should seek to build relationships centered on biblical principles, and the Holy Spirit should guide us in all aspects of our lives.

I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.

On September 11, 2015 I met with Bonnie Joe Clute and Chris Mock, and delivered the “HD/W st 204 Interview Notification form.” After reading the form, they signed it and agreed to let me ask assigned questions pertaining to their family. I received their consent to interview. Bonnie and Chris are Lesbian life partners and have been a couple for 6 years. Their family consists of Bonnie’s four nieces age 7-12 and her 7 year old biological son from a previous relationship.

This motive helped me encourage my future plans as a physician. These clubs have taught me a great deal, but going to animal shelters, and hospitals to volunteer on my own time have showed me the true meaning of helping others and how fortunate I am compared to some situations people have unfortunately been put in. We are writing in connection with Brannon and Shana Hogan’s move to your congregation. Brother and Sister Hogan lived in our area for a number of years and attended meetings briefly when they first arrived. When asked why they stopped Brannon mentioned in his previous congregation he was given too much responsibility too soon. This was made worse by his tendency to be a perfectionist which caused him emotional stress. He was afraid by returning to meetings he would find himself back in the same situation.
