20% of criminals suffer from psychological damage. People who suffer from physiological problems are more likely to commit evils acts. These evil acts root from the environment they surround themselves with. This tragedy lead people to not have their own state of mind and hate crimes against Muslims dramatically increased. Being put in a psychologically damaging environment growing up can lead to the person performing evil actions. William Shakespeare’s use of foreshadowing in “Romeo and Juliet” emphasizes Juliet’s rebellion due to the distant relationship with her mother growing up. The Montagues and the Capulets are two families who have despised each other for generations. Despite this anger, two people from each family fall in love, Romeo and Juliet. As the two get closer Romeo says, "I fear . . . some consequence, yet hanging in the stars shall bitterly begin his fearful date with this night's revels . . . ultimately death" (Shakespeare 1.4.106-111) It is stated that death is inevitable, making the reader analyze how the two are so naive about their feelings. The unloving relationship between Juliet and her mother led to rebellious teenage years. Since she felt rejected as a child, she seeked approval and attention through Romeo. Her desperation lead to doing things she never would have if she had attention from her mother. She grew up feeling neglected emotionally, it ultimately pushes her to make poor decisions. The neglection made it seem as if Romeo cared for her the most. Juliet’s state of mind was unsteady and she began to make unwise and impulsive decisions. Juliet eventually marries Romeo; the marriage is completely behind her parent’s backs. But the lying does not end here, Juliet also pretends to die. The style and tone of the characters are depicted in a way that makes it difficult to feel compassion or sympathy for them. The figurative language and style used by the author depicts characters with casual, informal, and extreme Southern stereotypes, diction and attitudes. The tone of the story is ironic in regard to both the characters and plot. O’Connor uses colorful language to describe the characters of the story in a way that allows the reader to vividly see the characters as cartoon like, grotesque, and exaggerated.

As reading the title, it automatically suggests the men in this short story are untrustworthy, not prevalent, and dangerous. By defying their families, authority and society's expectations, they set in motion the events in this tragedy. Romeo’s rebellion against society's expectations and his own family, the Montagues, is because of his love. His love of Rosaline is his first demonstration of defiance.

Although it would be seen as a shocking violent murder plot all in one, there can be another side to the story as well. In the story of A Good Man is Hard to Find shows that people would think O’Connor was mocking religion, in actuality she was not. The characters in the story are used to expose the idea between good and evil and hypocrisy.
