Many jobs keep adults continually moving all over the country. Relocating to a new community is inconvenient for everyone in a family, but it is hardest on teenagers. Regularly moving from city to city, state to state does have adverse effects on young teenagers. Teenagers change schools frequently due to their parent 's jobs. Starting a new school every year or two is difficult for a teenager. Awkward situations can arise if you do not know a teacher, principle, or other faculty names. Moving in the middle of the school year can be even more challenging for a young teen. Moving out of state separates people that are closest to the young teen. They move away from their families, the closest relationships a teen has in their lives. A grandparent that they love or a cousin they talk to every day will be far away from them. They will not see their family members as regularly, making close relationships the teen has with their families weaken due to the lack of contact. Some teens never get to know their family because of the constant relocation. They never stay in one place long enough to see their family or get to know them. This may be the most depressing part of continuous displacing that they experience, the teenager misses out on some of the greatest family
As students go through high school, many start thinking about their future after school. I’ve realized that I am a much more productive student when I’m not stressed. I get better results with the same input--by not panicking; thus maximizing my learning potential. My easygoing nature facilitates efficiency, and it will prove to be an advantageous quality in college, my future career, and my personal relationships.

It also gives him the excuse to come and visit, when he wants to. Mobility can be something to be thankful for, when it is contemplated. Moving is hard on even the happiest and most cheerful of us. For kids, who are little roller-coasters of emotion, it’s even harder. They have to change schools, change neighborhoods, change houses, and even leave friends behind – and it’s all so much at once. The difficulty of coping with the change can even lead to depression. Have you ever felt uncomfortable, nervous, and confused ? These are all the things I felt moving to a new school. I had no idea if I would gain friends or if anyone would like me. Maybe if I had a tour around the new school before my first day I would have not been so disorientated. Going from a one story school to a two story school was hard, having to look down every five seconds to make sure I was on the right hall, or if I was suppose to be upstairs or downstairs.
Many parents believe that teenagers attend school and just go there to sit and take notes, when in reality there is so much more to education than taking notes.
