Taking different English and writing classes has allowed me to write different types of papers. One paper that can be very challenging is the personal narrative. There are certain requirements that you must follow; each paper is different depending on who assigns it. When I am assigned to write this type of paper, usually it is dreadful to start and accomplish. This type of paper should just be removed from college writing courses.

All my life, I was always told that I was so smart and advanced for my age. Everything came easy to me: math, writing, reading, sports, and even playing many instruments. All this came with little work. So I seldom ever had to study or practice for anything. This occurred all throughout elementary and middle school.

It is important for the CLS program to invest in me specifically because I am unable to go and study in the Middle East without the funding provided by this scholarship. It is highly unlikely that an opportunity to travel to one of the different countries available would arise that I could feasibly take. I also believe that I should be invested in because I have developed a great passion for the Arab language and culture since I have started studying them. Initially, I began studying Arabic because my Arabic professor was so passionate and excited about the language and the ability to teach it to students.

I have made friends and met people who did not necessarily agree with the choices I made in my student life. Although I never did, do not, nor will ever engulf my thoughts in those of others, I found myself questioning the reason behind my choice in education path. My whole life I was moulded into the sciences, with a tad of fondness for the business sector of the world. Thus, it is how I have decided to pursue my life as a businessman in the Social Science: Commerce profile. Furthermore, I decided to follow my own footsteps to create a pathway of life that would fit with my terms of sensitive yet hardworking relationship between my being and my personality.

I am an active member in a wide variety of activities. I am very involved in 4-H and FFA. Through these clubs, I have participated in many community service projects. I work hard in the classroom and I’m very goal driven. I have a 3.14 GPA, and I strive to do better each and every day.

In my future, I hope to continue the skills I have acquired during this English class. I think that they will be very obliging to me, nevertheless of what I am trying to achieve. In this course, I was encountered with deadlines, instructions, and assignments that I could not work around. I found that all of these responsibilities have made me comprehend that I could definitely take the next step forward in life.

My passion for helping and supporting those whose economic and financial standings have hindered their growth in our society, has driven me towards social work. I feel I have exhausted every possible avenue in my current degree field. Pursuing a master’s in Social Work, will give me the diversity that I need, while aiding me in bringing my dreams of working more in depth with clients, by helping assist them with their individual needs and issues to reality. The Social work field also offers versatility which allows me to work in many dimensions, such as clinical, case management, and many other composites which enables me to help every population. I am a first year student In the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. I just started my first semester in this winter 2016. Currently, I am taking the four following courses in Commerce: Business Communications, Collaborative leadership, Macroeconomic, and Management of the Enterprises. I am writing this letter in order to assess myself in switching from Commerce major in marketing into Information Technology major of Networking & IT Security to start in the summer. As I know, three of these courses are required in Information Technology program, which make it easier for me to take INFR courses directly.

I was responsible for defining and maintaining multi-year roadmap for OpenEdge product line. I managed multiple OpenEdge products from cradle to grave, including business planning, pricing, product sales policies, customer and stakeholder management. I was instrumental in defining the modernization strategy for OpenEdge products and creating a "Business Applications of the Future" vision for OpenEdge platform. As part of OpenEdge modernization initiative, I invented "Kendo UI Builder", a web productivity platform, by collaborating with different product groups within the company. For the initial release, I spearheaded the initiative as a Product Manager for the innovative, first in the industry product.

Choosing a college major is one of the most important decisions in a person’s life. The effect choosing a college major has on one’s life is much like a small ripple in the middle of a vast ocean. In the students senior year it is a simple seemingly inconsequential click of a button on an online application. The adjectives I use to describe myself are as follows: kind, loyal, selfish, hard working, apathetic, practical, honest, occasionally rude, and procrastinator. As for the roles that I fill, I am a son, a brother, a friend, a student, the oldest son, and a teacher. Self-concept is a product of many things, it is not just simply what a person is.
