Nazi Concentration Camps During The Holocaust

The holocaust was one of the worst genocides that has happened to one race in the last 100 years it lead to the deaths of 6 million to 17 million jews. There are not that many people still alive that got saved for it because of the exprempit they were put through the time they were in the camps dieing. One of many ways the nazis killed so many jews was gas chambers and pizza type ovens they had mounds of people from the gas chambers piled up in the millions. When they got saved they had to did massov graves and use a bulldozer to get all the bodys in to the grave. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel there are many instes of dehumanizing for example they had to be put in to the cattle cars.

The facilities at these camps like heat, washrooms, and toilets were all very scarce. When present, these facilities were often poorly managed and in very inhumane conditions. The prisoners at these camps were almost always of Jewish descent except for the majority of war-related prisoners and were kept in ordinary prison cells. Auschwitz was the name of a very well-known camp in a Nazi-controlled part of Poland during The Holocaust. In Auschwitz, they used various forms of torture including gas chambers, crematoriums, various beatings, and individual torture.

Living inside a concentration camp came with meager rations of bread and poor soup that could barely sustain a person, and terrible treatment from both guards and other prisoners alike. Second is that there is a lot of written documents about the holocaust and all the killings and camps. Ones like Hitler 's Address,Hitler’s propaganda. Hitler’s propaganda talks about all the foreign enemies to the Germans like the jews and why they need to be defeated making people believe that the jews deserve this punishment that they are receiving. “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Hitler.

Millions of people died during the Holocaust. Many Individual people, groups and countries risked their lives to rescue Jews during that time. It was a time of sorrow and despair for Jews, There are numerous stories of brave people in other countries who also tried to save the Jews from perishing at the hands of the Nazis, and most individuals in occupied Europe did not actively take part in the Nazi genocide, nor did they do anything to help Jews and other victims of the Nazis.

The holocaust was known as a “systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its supporters. The Nazis who came into power in Germany in January 1933 believed that German’s were ‘racially inferior. '” (Introduction to the Holocaust, USHMM). During the peak of the Nazi regime, which was in the midst of the world war, the government implemented concentration camps as a method to “detain political and ideological opponents.” (Introduction to the Holocaust, USHMM).

Shortly before the outbreak of war, SS and police officials incarcerated Jews, Roma, and other victims of ethnic and racial hatred in these camps. To concentrate and monitor the Jewish population as well as to facilitate later deportation of the Jews, the Germans and their collaborators created ghettos, transit camps, and forced-labor camps for Jews during the war years. The German authorities also established numerous forced-labor camps, both in the Greater German Reich and in German occupied territory.

The very first concentration camp was set up in Dachau, Germany in 1933. Concentration camps kept opening up and being used all the way through to the end of World War II in 1945. As so many camps opened their had to be someone to build them for the prisoners of war, and believe it or not it was the prisoners themselves who had to build their own soon to be torture and sleeping chambers. In the Holocaust up to 6 million Jewish citizens died in either concentration camps or on the street. In the concentration camps people were either killed by being shot, gassed with poisonous gasses, tortured, or by catching a deathly disease or virus but prier to this they had to live in poor, poor living conditions.

People were sent to concentration camps to be detained under harsh conditions which eventually led up to their deaths. These camps helped carry out Hitler’s “Final Solution” plan. The Nazi’s first established camps in Poland because they had the largest population of Jewish people. They’re main plan when creating these camps was mass murder.

To finish it the concentrations camp degraded people slowly in the worst kind of torture so that they would finally die. The main purpose of the concentration camps were to take all of the Jewish population gold because the Jews were really rich in gold. Theirs’s other reason too for the concentration camp a second reason was to take their hair and other stuff to help the Germans during the war because they didn’t want to spend money for

On Sunday, November 29th at 10:39 am, I started the research about my topic. I wasn’t in the best mood, but I had to finish this research and find my answer. The first thing I did was go open up a web browser, Google, and type in, “What did Jewish prisoners work during WWII.” It took me to Wikipedia and there was a section on the page called, “Forced Workers.” It talked about how people were put into labour camps depending on different categories of inmates.

Eugenics and Concentration Camps Most people have a common knowledge on the holocaust, and about the horrible things that happened with it, but to what extent? Therefore, I will be typing this paper about Hitler; his beliefs and intentions on the concentration camps. I will also be typing about the concentration camps, how they formed, the way people were treated, how the people got there, and how eugenics was used in the concentration camps and in other countries too. Concentration camps did not start out as a location where the Jews were tricked and or forced to enter. But instead, concentration camps started out as a location Germans were sent to when they oppose fascism that Hitler was trying to make Germany become instead of a Republic

The holocaust took place in Europe because Hitler wanted to cleanse the world of Jews. Hitler did not only get rid of the Jews but he also got rid of many others such as the disabled, LGBT community, Gypsies, and the Polish. Through a variety of texts, people can learn about the holocaust like in the book Night which is an autobiography by Elie Wiesel, a holocaust survivor. Also a video documentary called Auschwitz death camp and a poem called "To the little polish boy" are texts that were written after the holocaust.

Living in a concentration camp was one of the worst things one could imagine, for it wasn’t really living at all, but merely existing. Prisoners were tortured, degraded, starved and executed. This was such a tragic time in history and we should all be thankful that our world isn 't like this. The Concentration Camps were made because Hitler hated the jews and wanted to kill all and they were kind of brainwashing them to tell them it is a wonderful place to live. When they were making the camps the Nazis would go around just shooting people for no reason. So Hitler and the Nazis captured the majority of the Jews and put them into these camps saying they should be here and that they deserve to died and it is all their fault.
