The profession that I have chose that I want to start a career in is a nutritionist. I chose this career path because I want to help people live a healthier life. Depending on what state you live in all certifications and credentials are different. Each state has different criteria in regards of becoming a nutritionist. There are a few steps you have to do to be a nutritionist in the state of Pennsylvania, he first step is earning a bachelors degree. After you earn a bachelors you have to complete an educational program in dietetics in PA. After that you have too complete a dietetic internship (DI) in PA. You want the client to be able to understand you at all times, using words that your clientele will understand. As a nutritionist you also want to have computer skills, with programs such as excel, Microsoft word, and just being able to use a everyday computer effectively. Nutritionist uses excel to create diet plans in a organized way and keeps everything in order for your clients.. I feel what I need to work on is my communication skills, I feel I can do a better job with talking with people on a professional level, and better at describing things to people, and try to be more clear, and make sure that my clients understand everything I say. I have a lot of career goals; first I need to graduate with a bachelor’s degree to get where I want to be in life. The first career I researched was dental hygienist. A dental hygienist is someone who cleans patient’s mouth, checks for and educates patients about mouth diseases, and take x-rays of the mouth. I chose to research this career because over the past year or so I became curious about this career. In my research I found many dental hygienist work at least two jobs because dentists hire them to work part time.
After being accepted into a PA program one can expect to spend 3 years in class and clinical rotations to receive a master's degree (Ravenelle). Following graduation from a PA program, one will be prompted to take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (Ravenelle). Passing the exam will result in one becoming a Certified Physician Assistant. Before any individual can begin their career they must procure a state license. To practice in any state there are certain requirements to follow to obtain a license, but Ravenelle writes, " Each state has different requirements, so consult your licensing board in your state for the next steps” (Ravenelle).

My career goal in the exercise science and wellness field would be becoming an athletic trainer. I enjoy playing and watching sports and have some knowledge about certain things that needs to be done when an injury occurs to an athlete. In ten years, I would expect to see myself working as an athletic trainer at Penn State University. My result of the Kiersey Temperament Sorter does support my career goal because the result showed my personality type is that of an artisan. An artisan has natural ability to excel at jobs that require hands on operations such as an athletic trainer.
The career field that I have chosen to go into is the medical field. In the medical field I would like to become a dental hygienist. I have always wanted to work in a Health profession. I enjoy working with people and I like the team atmosphere approach of a dental office. I am a firm believer that in order to be happy and successful, you need to have a job that you love to do. This ideology is what motivated me to want to become a nurse practitioner and help the people in my community. Attending California State University, Los Angeles is allowing me to pursue my academic goal of getting into the nursing program. I aspire to get my bachelors of science in nursing to be able to become a registered nurse. After gaining experience as a registered nurse, I will pursue a master of science in nursing to become a nurse practitioner.

My Future Career, Nurse Practitioner A nurse practitioner is a nurse with a graduate degree in advanced practice nursing. When I was little I always said I wanted to become a nurse practitioner. It was something about being able to help patients overcome their illnesses that interested me the most.
The profession I have chosen to pursue is that of a Physician Assistant. My reason for this selection is because it gives you the independency of a Physician while having somewhat less responsibilities. A Physician Assistant provides healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Some of these services include but are not limited to examining and treating patients, diagnosing illnesses and counseling patients. In some case physician assistants are also tasked to prescribe medicine to patients.
Also, I have dreams of owning my own business and building my own brand at the same time. I want clients to understand I care about my business but I care about them as well. By pursuing a career in Kinesiology it will allow me to communicate with people.
When I complete all of my schoolings I would like to become a behavioral disorder counselor. This career is for me because I love helping people, I want to help people better understand themselves so they can overcome their problems, and the human brain and the thought process has always been a huge interest to me. Is has always been a goal in my life to be somewhere in the healthcare field working, and this is the area that intrigues me and always keeps me interested. As of right now, my future plans are to finish high school, graduate college with a doctorate in behavioral psychology, and then further on to work as a counselor in a private practice.
Although I going to strive to become an Equine dentist, sometimes things get in the way of life and you need to re-route yourself. If life just so happens to get in my way and interfere with me becoming an Equine dentist i have two backup careers. My first one is being a Horse breeder, and my second one is being a Vet tech. I chose theses two careers as my backup plan because most of the college prerequisites and other course work are the same, and because it still has my passion in it, animals. The first career I am going to talk about is Vet tech.
My long term goal would be to assist with the elderly as I’m very drawn to the geriatric community. My faith in Jesus Christ has guided me to fulfill my passion in becoming a nurse. I truly believe that becoming a nurse will help me to completely understand the value of human life. I
