I have learned many of the values, qualities, and struggles of the real world. Even though am eighteen years old, for the past two years I have had four jobs. Each of those jobs have taught me the qualities it takes to live in the real world, but I believe my personality is one of my greatness trait. I am a person who is sociable, friendly, and trustworthy. And the jobs I have had have only improved my personal traits, in every way. And traits keep on improving the more I socialize with people in school, public, and work area. I believe a person should always work, because they can experience what the real world is like. This is the mindset I had going to work. in all the types of jobs I had. This is what helped me and can help others in the same way. …show more content…
Last year I worked at my local gym. There I had responsibilities, to come to work on time, clean equipment, and take out the trash. This was all expect of me, nobody would explain this to me it my responsibility. A sociable person is something else employers are looking for. My jobs in the Indio street fair and Jewish hotel, have taught me how to socialize with people or talk to a group of people. In the street fair I had to learn how to attract people, to came and play my basketball game. And convince them my game is fun and worth spending money on. This is where i learned socializing is my greatest asset. After this job it was easy to speak in front of a class, because i had the experience. And not many people can say the

I am writing you today to express my interests about potential vacancies within your company. I have included my resume for your consideration as well. I would be exceedingly grateful if you would please consider me as an applicant for such an amazing opportunity. I feel that I possess qualities that might be great for the opportunity at hand. For my Diverse Field Experience this semester, I spent fifteen hours at the Mclean County Juvenile Detention Center. This particular center was occupied by about 8-14 juveniles at a time, all depending on court dates and occupancy of other nearby detention centers. This center usually had 3 staff members working the shift every time I went, which was seven to nine on weekday afternoons. I was intrigued to go to at this time because I thought it would be the time of the day were the juveniles had no school work or other obligations to do while I was there. I wanted to see what they liked to do in the free time before bed, the only stipulation being mandatory snack time at eight pm.
It may not be considered healthy to always be so work oriented, but setting myself goals and working towards them gives me a fruitful thrill. This concept is what gives me a sense of uniqueness from those around me and is something I will continue to do in order to fulfill my own
If I achieved something trust me everyone will know. If it makes me proud or if its an accomplishment you will hear about it. I think knowing your personality type helps the creation of a performance plan for an employee in an organization. You learn a lot about your employees when you do a personality test. You will know what the employee can bring to the table or what will slow the employee down.
I am very open minded to suggestions and make an effort to be there for others. I am dependable and trustworthy, these qualities have thankfully helped me get a job working
My Worst Job When I was sixteen, one of my middle school friends named Jessica was a shift leader at dunkin she wanted me to work with her for the summer to have some extra money. It seemed like a lot of fun for the first week or so, but it turned out to be the worst job of my life. My job was the front cash register. This was fun I actually enjoyed it
1.1 Introduction In today’s environment, the ownership is on us, as an individual to take responsibility for our own development, rather than expecting our organization to do it for us. The question, which always ponders over mind is does my personal skills suits to today’s dynamic world? If not, how do I move forward? Hence, the starting point is to introspect, retrospect and do an evaluation through self-assessment tools in order to know myself, strengths and limitations and my ability to perform in dynamic roles in the business environment.

Overworked. That’s the closest word that I could use to describe this week. I feel like this journal is going to be about me just bickering, yet there is some stuff you might want to read about. First of all, I have been sleeping three hours this week because of upcoming midterms, quizzes, and assignments due. I am sleep deprived and mentally drained and as my second year in college I have never had my life drained out of my body like a passing shadow.
Everyone gets nervous when they have to do something new or something they are not comfortable with. It’s normal and it’s apart of growing up. The result of these situations will make you a more knowledgeable and experienced person. This is what best describes James Collier in his article “Anxiety: Challenge by Another Name.” Collier is an author, journalist and musician.
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
I find taking personality tests very interesting. One part of the previous assignment, was to complete the Holland test. I was asked to choose characteristics from six different categories. The categories with the highest amounts of checks were artistic, conventional, and social. I agree with the test that I am artistic and conventional.
The right social and physical work environment reduces absenteeism and promotes productivity and job satisfaction by creating positive energy. Since most people spend roughly about one-fourth of their week at work, it is very important to choose a place where one ‘fits in.’ The right workplace environment depends on the personality of the applicant. At a specific workplace, an employee might need to interact with people all day. In such a case, an ‘introvert’ will find it rather difficult to adjust in such an environment whereas an ‘extrovert’ will easily rise up to the challenge.
These personality trates make me who I am. Another thing about personalities are the qualities that you possess. For example, my qualities are very close to my personality type. I have a kindness in me along with the forgiveness
