Personal Statement: I Want To Go To College

College is Worth the Cost College is the next higher level of education after high school. Many students go to college to get a bachelor’s degree for his or her major, and some students go farther than that to get a masters or a doctorates’ degree. The argument between people in today’s society is whether college is worth the cost. College is worth the cost students pay because people, who attend college get better jobs, make more money, and college improves his or her worth ethics and character.

College is a big deal for many students around the world. It is a step up from high school, which you are required by law to finish. College is a special school in which you can earn a diploma and work towards your desired career. Pamela Wissman went to the University of Cincinnati when she was 18 years old. She ended at age 23, then started again at 28.

College. A time of discovery, enlightenment, and personal growth. Obtaining a college degree is a fantastic way to improve the chances of obtaining a high paying job, but college is not free. In fact, many students now face the problem of being able to afford college. That is why many students enter a work study program, but jobs are scarce, especially in Bowling Green.

For many people, college is an important key for their future. Some people go to college for the job opportunities and the new windows it can open. Others go just for the education and experience. A good education is beneficial from many different viewpoints; in truth, it is a possibility that one's adult life could be much harder than people care to think. One can have better wealth, is less likely to be unemployed, and a much higher chance of being closer to your family.

Though there are many individuals who believe that college is not for everyone, attending college and getting a higher education can open the gates to many tremendous life changing opportunities such as becoming healthier, begin able to secure jobs, and earning more financially.

Why do I want to attend college? College is an honorary achievement and it separates the determined from the undetermined. Owning a college to degree is an honor and an ecstatic feeling. Through college, that job is that much closer in the grasp. Through college, a person can perform at an elite level and really push themselves for greatness.

College is worth it because of the big job opportunities, higher income, and living a better lifestyle. First, college offers big job opportunities. Others may believe that it benefits in jobs, but some think that college can also cause unemployment (Draeger). As college students prepare for a job hiring, sometimes the student doesn’t meet the job standards or the job just doesn’t suit the student, so therefore they’re not motivated to prepare for a career. If the student is preparing for a high position in jobs, then it gives superior benefits (The Value of Education).

College Isn 't The Only Answer If anyone has ever went to high school, then they have heard about college. Everyone has a different point of view on the idea of college. Part of it depends on how someone was raised.

Such as financial stability, popularity, boredom, recognition, starvation, etc. Though the fact still remains, how do you get there? And that is where the college factor comes in. Colleges are the pinnacle of your learning experience within educational systems. They are the centers in which people gather to perfect their art.

They say money can't buy happiness. I say give me 100 dollars, you can watch me smile! If I could have one wish it would be money. I wish money because I want to go to college, travel around the world and it will make me happy. College is very expensive.

I am taking the time to write a personal statement to support my application for admission into the Online MBA program, at The University of Southern California Marshall School Of Business. I understand that my previous grades and test scores were not the greatest, but I refuse to allow that to define me as a person, because I know what I am capable of as a student. I requested that The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, a college that I attended over eight years ago, send over my transcripts. These transcripts show how much I neglected my grades and schoolwork in the year 2007. I take full responsibility and admit that I slacked off during my first year of college, due to being lazy and living on my own for the first time.

A college education is very important for me to obtain the career I want. College will provide me the knowledge and practice I need to be successful. Going to college will help me get accustomed to the pressure of the real world and will give me the opportunity to become independent. Graduating college is my number one goal in life. It would be an awarding payoff for all the hard work and dedication to my studies throughout high school.

The benefits of a college degree are endless. The knowledge you gain can help you throughout not only your career, but through your entire life. College is attended in a likely formative age, and the experiences you gain can help shape you in ways you never imagined. Not only that, but it also can help you find internships, get jobs, and pursue a life with the career you dreamed of having. Receiving a college level education is one of the most important decisions you can ever make.

It is the stepping stone that allows students to open doors to careers and new life professions but it comes at a high cost. A college education helps students open doors for careers that require degrees and offer more money, it allows students to grow personally as well as

A college education is important to me because it helps secure my future. An education help me secure a well paying job to support a husband, children, family members, and also the community. With a college education, it will help build background knowledge and skills for the future in and out of work. The knowledge acquired in college will help make decision making easier, help with tasks at home, and solve problems. The skills I learn in college will give me more confidence in my future job- which I plan on going into nursing.
