Abortion has always been a controversial topic, and with debates from the recent presidential election bringing abortion back into the spotlight, it is clear that people have varying views as well as a great misunderstanding of abortion. Often, the morality of such action is widely discussed, and stones are quickly thrown. I believe that abortion should be legally and safely obtainable in all cases for women who feel it is the best path to take in their pregnancy.     While abortion is currently legal in all 50 states, some lawmakers are working to make abortions virtually unobtainable. A woman 's body belongs to herself and she should be free to do what she thinks is right for her body and health in any situation. One of the situations women around the world face when pregnant at a wrong time period in their life is abortion. There are various reasons why women around the world choose to have an abortion. Some of them are because they are not mentally, physically and/or financially ready. Abortion has been around for thousands of years.

Conflicts on the topics of abortion are usually described as being pro or anti life. Every life is precious regardless if its a full grown person or an unborn child in its mother’s womb. Abortion right does not support the fact that every human has the right to life. Not only does is abortion essentially murder, the effects of abortion on the mother can cause psychological damage and stunts the growth of the number of available babies that could potentially be adopted by willing parents. Abortion should be illegal because it causes harm to society, women and millions of unborn children around the country. Taking the life from the most innocent human beings on earth, before they could even make the decision for themselves, is the most cruel and inhumane action to commit.
