Why contact sports should be in highschool
There is a big controversy about if contact sports should be in high school. The football draft has just ended and the season is coming. And even if it doesn't look like it now, summer is almost here. All of this means that children are and will enjoy getting out and participating in organized contact sports. But what about the risk of concussion or other injuries? While the risk of injury will always exist in contact sports, sports also have numerous benefits.

Furthermore, injuries in contact sports are more than just concussions and fractures. Children who participate in contact sports are just as likely to suffer a heatstroke or burnout injury as children who play soccer or volleyball. So you cannot blame injuries in contact sports on the sports themselves, as some injuries can happen anywhere. You might even slip and break your arm. Injuries don't just happen in contact sports.
In addition, people who play contact sports or any sport related to that are subject to a calculated risk of injury while playing. Most sports are played with some kind of physical activity and skill, and some also involve some kind of physical contact. But lately, there has been a lot of social tension about whether to continue playing these types of contact sports, as medical research has shown that contact sports are harmful to the human body. But I believe these contact sports should not be banned.
Contact sports like soccer aren't even the most dangerous sports to play. Most studies have shown that the three most dangerous sports in America are not even contacting sports! Horseback riding and cheerleading are two sports that are virtually collision-free and have resulted in many deaths.

The research done therefore indicates that in every 1,000 games around four players were injured. The public has come to learn that most of these injuries occur in High Schools hence it’s surprising and shocking. Young boys suffer from concussions while trying to lift their organizations.

Imagine yourself running with a football amidst a game, trying to make your way to the endzone and then suddenly, Pow! You are hit by a defender and knocked back down to the ground. The world around you turns blurry as you approach the bench in your dizzy state, as you realize you have suffered a concussion. Football is one of the many popular sports which is officially played in high schools. Many of the young adults that play the game suffer from injuries such as concussions, making the sport a highly debated topic on whether it is safe for young athletes to play the game.
Highs schools and communities should take more actions to prevent these events from occurring because an increase in number of concussions, major health effects and future risks. Every year, many of youth and high school athletes receive a concussion due to sport. Concussions are common and could be potentially the most dangerous injuries athletes suffer from. In the recent years, doctors and players are giving more attention to concussions due to increased awareness, of the effects caused by repeated concussions. Furthermore, no sport is immune to concussions every sport has concussion related injuries.
In sports preventing concussions can be as easy as simple changes. Statistics show that forty-seven percent of concussions occur in high school football games (HeadCase Company). This article does not explain the idea of not playing high school sports just trying and avoid them from happening as frequent. This alarming percentage shows the more attention is required to keeping young athletes safe during game and in practice. By understanding the role of concussions can play in high school sports, the coaches and the athletes can take the right the steps to help prevent these problems from happening.
Although some may argue that these programs have many positive effects such as instilling confidence and pride in young adults, these sources all address the common issue of concussions and permanent youth brain damage. Football, is known to be one of the most contact sports. Players tackle one another to defend their touchdown zone and to try and steal the ball.
