I agree. In some cases, knowing that you have a mutation and will be affected with the disease could be very emotional for an individual. One never knows how they will respond to the result and pretesting counseling may not fully prepare the individual for the result. One question that has been raised is should genetic counseling be allowed for diseases that are not treatable? It is thought that if an individual knows they will develop a condition that has no treatment it could cause psychological harm, stigmatization, and possible discrimination. Do we want to take this right away simple because there is no treatment? Family and career planning may be the motivation behind an individual’s decision to be tested. It is the individual choice

Anderson, Indiana used to be an exciting town full of businesses and factories. It was a great place to live and many people wanted to live here because there were many opportunities and places for people to get jobs. In the last thirty or so years, Anderson has become the exact opposite of what it used to be. There is not much of anything here now and everyone who currently resides here is looking for a way out. There are a few to no successful factories like there used to be in Anderson years ago.
Week Five Devotional An acronym for Bible is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. The Bible is our manual for living and dealing with life on life’s terms. Because we are saved does not mean we will not face persecutions, adversity, hardships, or offenses. On the contrary, Jesus makes it clear that we are going to be persecuted, and told us in John 15:20b, “If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” Apostle James in his letter tells us to “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (James 1:2).
Week two has been a little more challenging versus week one. I was tempted with sweet tea several times which has made it more difficult. I truly expected it to be easier because I thought after the first week my body would start to adapt without the caffeine from sweet tea. This is not how I expected the assignment to go. I honestly thought I would not have any issues or have any withdrawal symptoms.
I think the objectives set forth in Healthy People are a step in the right direction. They set goals that may not always be reached 100% but they are realistic and attainable. They always show improvement in areas that need work. However, there are some discrepancies that definitely stop the progress that Healthy People has set forth.
In order to achieve this goal, I will take the following steps or I would take the following actions. Action 1) identifying the pressures that have been created: pressure situations have an indirect and direct Impact on both yourself and your surroundings. The most common signs of a person whom is pressured/ stressed are firstly an individual may develop a loss of interest in his or her work, have trouble concentrating or is socially withdrawn from a group with a group situation or the individual becomes anti-social (Mortillaro & Scherer, 2014). I will need to utilise my ability to allocate time within my days off and lunch breaks at work to identify any issues that may arise within my Co-operative Education at Ogilvy and Mather.

Precipitating Factors and History of the Problem Ms. NS reported that she and her family lost her grandmother around two years ago. Christmas is not a happy time for everyone. Some individuals actually find that their mood suffers during the festive period as a result of the cold weather, a lack of family and friends or the winter depression seasonal affective disorder (SAD). The good news is that if any of those symptoms sound familiar I have 4 festive tips that can help improve your mood this year. 1) EAT SOME MOOD BOOSTING FOODS: The foods you eat can have a major effect on your mood. Consuming large amounts of poor quality foods can lead to your blood glucose levels surging and falling rapidly which results in feelings of tiredness and moodiness.
