Since the animals were like blindfolded, no one made the connection between Boxer's being taken away and the pigs suddenly having more money. The contrast between what the animals believe, what the narrator actually is talking about, and what the reader knows to be the truth, fills one with an anger. (“Animal Farm: Animals Irony”) Animal Farm satirises the breakdown of political ideology and the misuse of power. The major players are animals but their failings are all recognisably human. They begin with an idealistic attempt to form a new society, liberated from the tyranny of humans and founded on the principle of equality and freedom for everyone, but it all goes wrong as the pigs take over.

Animal Farm illustrates how leaders become corrupt when they abuse their power, treat the population differently based on their status, and the leaders manipulate and oppress the working class. Over the course of the book, Napoleon and the pigs abused their power. After an announcement about trading with the humans for supplies, Squealer
But, it turns into a disaster and Napoleon, one of the pigs, takes over the farm by manipulating the animals and gets guard dogs. The authors obvious irony and symbolism helps support the theme that history repeats itself because no matter what, the bad and good are constantly on war, and only repeat rather than make progress. Napoleon and Mr. Jones are paralleled two characters that help represent that history repeats itself. Mr Jones was overthrown by Napoleon, but Napoleon later acted exactly like Mr. Jones. “The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and man to pig, and from pig to man again, but already it was impossible to say which was which.”

Then seized back our independence at the Rebellion and successfully created a society where Animalism and the animals living within it have thrived. Animal farm, it did have some crazy moments. Over throwing leaders, slavery, war, but all these topics come back to the type of government animal farm was. It wasn’t always a dictatorship before Napoleon's reign began. It started with the rule of man ( Mr. Jones ) and he was ruthless, barely feeding the animals and pushing them to work hard. Though it wasn’t quite a dictatorship more like a monarchy because humans wore higher looked then animals.
