Saul Bass Saul Bass was born in New York in May eighth, 1920. He began his schooling at James Monroe high school in the Bronx and from there went on to attend classes at Brooklyn college. He started his career in Hollywood by designing the covers for Champion in 1949 and Death of a Salesman in 1951. From there he went on to design other movie covers and many other logos. Saul Bass made movie titles almost as interesting as the movies themselves. He designed such covers as: Psycho; It´s a mad, mad, mad, mad world; Bonjour Tristesse; Vertigo; Grand Prix and North by Northwest; Goodfella; Casino and many others. He was obviously looking for a more creative outlet for his creative designs than trademarks, corporate logos, letterheads, TV commercials and packaging for which he was in constant demand. The answer proved to be film-making: imaginative documentaries, a single feature film, and pre-eminently title sequences for other directors ' work on which he sometimes received the credit of "visual consultant". His second wife, Elaine was seven years younger than him and a New Yorker who sang in an Andrews Sisters-style group with her older sisters and eventually relocated to Hollywood. She met Bass around 1956, and married him in 1961 and worked with him until his death in 1996. They eventually had a daughter named Jennifer Bass, who became a graphic designer later in her life.
Bass had a unique style that no one else could attain. One of his most famous designs was Hitchcock’s famous film; Vertigo. This poster followed Bass’ pattern of simple colors, limited amount of text with an emphasis on an simple and thought provoking image. In this poster the first thing seen is the man falling into the white vortex. Bass chose to emphasize the man by contrasting him with the white vortex in the center of the poster. Donald Crump is the owner of Crumpy's Hot Wings, which is located in Memphis, Tennessee. On November 3rd, Crump was accused of choking Rinesha Moore, an ordinary customer, for complaining about her cold fries. According to the article, Moore was late picking up her food. When she arrived at the restaurant, she asked for fresh fries and Crump carelessly rejected her request. The two got into an argument which led to Moore throwing her food on the floor.
4th Hour Charley Poole District Performance Event Jimmy Valentine was a man that changed his life from robbing banks and being in jail to successfully owning a shoe store. Jimmy valentine is a famous, or rather infamous bank robber that just got out of jail. He found a new town that he would like to stay in. He also goes by the new name of Ralph Spencer. Jimmy Valentine was truly dedicated to living a moral life because he changed his name, he was about to give away his robbery gear, and he gave up crime to start a shoe company.
Dave Trott is the U.S. House Representative of Michigan (District 11). Dave was born on October 16th, 1960. He is married and has three children. Both of Dave’s parents were former lawyers. He received his BA at the University of Michigan 1977-1981.
Insanity Richard Ramirez, known as the night stalker, was a serial killer in Los Angeles. I think that Richard Ramirez suffered from insanity. Insanity is when one is seriously mental ill. Richard Ramirez spent a lot of his childhood with a family cousin Michael. Michael was a Vietnam green beret that told Richard of how he found pleasure in raping and murdering Vietnamese women while deployed.

He was a remarkable coach that left a legacy everyone remembers him. Paul “Bear” Bryant was born on September 11, 1913.

The Death of Laci Peterson On December 24, 2002, Laci Peterson was reported missing from her home in Modesto, California by her parents and husband. The Modesto police began their search for Laci Peterson before the standard forty-eight hour limit to file a missing person’s report because she was eight months pregnant. John Buehler, the lead detective on her case, claims there was no reason for her to be missing on Christmas Eve. The police went to the Peterson household and questioned her husband Scott.
Who is Benjamin Jealous? Benjamin Jealous was the NAACP leader from 2008 until 2013. Ben also was the youngest NAACP leader in history and under his leadership, NAACP grew into the largest civil rights group in the US. Before Jealous was the leader of NAACP, he was a journalist for 15 years, and had a passion to fight for people’s rights.
Jackson Scott is a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States National Guard, and has been serving for five and a half years. Jackson was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and then transferred to East Tennessee State University in Johnson City Tennessee; where he received his degree in criminal justice. The school transfer was mostly because he wanted to be closer to his family and his now wife and my sister, Baylie Scott. Jackson went on to explain that he joined the military because he described it as his “sense of duty.”
Tremaine Townsend, born December 11, 1986 at Sharps Hospital, San Diego, CA, he is my only son, I decided to write about someone who is near and dear to my heart. I am very proud of my son he has been a blessing to me and has made me so proud to be a father. Tremaine was always an exceptional basketball player. He played first string his freshman and sophomore year at North High School here in Phoenix, AZ. During that time Tremaine grew maybe a couple of inches, from 5’10” to 6’0” tall, no major growth spurt but that summer Tremaine grew 6 inches, now that is major.
Richard Bassett was a significant Figure of the Constitutional Convention. Richard was in the convention at the age of 42 with the state of Delaware. Although Mr. Bassett was not apart of the committee assignments he did partake in New government such as, Attending the Delaware ratification convention, supported the ratification of the Constitution, served as a Senator from Delaware in the years of, 1789 through 1793 and Serving as the Midnight Judge appointee by President Adams. Prior Political experience Bassett was involved in includes, Lower House of Delaware State Legislature 1785, The Upper House of Delaware State Legislature 1776 and 1770-1780 and 1783-1785, also the Delaware State convention in 1776 with lastly being apart of the Annapolis Convention in 1786 as a Delegate. Richard Bassett didn 't know at a young age that soon when he was older he would be a significant Figure Of the Constitutional Convention.
Wes Montgomery is an American jazz guitarist, who was born on March 6th 1923. During his career he was extremely influential throughout the jazz community. Unlike many musicians, Montgomery started playing music at the late age of 19. He had no formal training, having to teach himself the craft of guitar.
Jeff coffin is an internationally recognized saxophonist, bandleader, composer and educator. He is a three time Grammy Award winner with Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones. He was born in August 5,1965. Futureman is an inventor, scientist, musician and a composer. He is a two time Grammy Award winning performer with Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones.
He made films to express his personality. A lack of funding was a limitation for him to make his films, but he was still able to reach something that he wanted in his film. Characters he has made were the outcome of his deliberation. For example, Stranger than Paradise is one of his successful films, and it really pulls audiences to think about their life. “Citizen Kane” is a tale of the “Charles Foster Kane”. “Citizen Kane” was one among the major controversial movies continually built up. Kane was one of the most controversial films ever made. Hearst, affronted from his representation, presented RKO a diminutive chance to wipe out the movie. When that attempt did not work, newspapers of the Hearst go aboard on an operation of denouncement in opposition to Welles, therefore demonstrating that the dishonesty of the press and the condemnation of the power in film were specifically the aim.
