Being the youngest out of my two sisters, my oldest sister has been the most inspirational icon and image that I've known. At the age of 22, my sister, Real Washington, has proven to me that despite the trials and tribulations that we encounter with in life, we must continue to go as we grow. I can remember attending my sister's white coat ceremony, being one step closer to her vision of becoming a registered nurse. I watched as she glided across the room's floor and everyone clapped profoundly. As I watched her, I began to think to myself (I want to be just like that.) The contributions that she's made has furthered my education and made me a better individual. Each day, my sister and I hold a conversation that consists of both of our futures. I tend to become frustrated when I think about how I'm going to pay for college. Then there's my sister, who has the ability and power to make things better. I was taking AP English III (my first advanced placement class) and was struggling to maintain composure. As I was assigned tons of work and essays each and every day, I began to break down. My peers considered me a nerd and that year I witnessed that it was true. One night, as I sat in bed, I began to become frustrated as I had piles of work to tackle from my English class. I cried and cried. Suddenly, I reminded myself about how it'll all pay off in the end and that my sister is there for me. I gave my sister a call and she lectured me about her previous dealings in high school. Ironically, my sister and I shared the same English teacher.
