He killed two of her children and Benjamin Pitezel, his business partner and her husband. Today’s doctors have theorized he may have had an antisocial personality disorder. Even Though he was charming and could socialize well, he may have looked down to other people, class or not. This disorder may have made him distance himself from others, making him dangerous and homicidal. He lacked the basis of humanity, empathy, and compassion, which made his actions to him justifiable, like the construction and murders in the Murder Castle.

Ted Bundy is a notorious serial killer who targeted a number of young attractive women. Bundy like many other serial killers had a type. He preferred his victims to be women with small builds and long brown middle parted hair. Why long brown middle parted hair and a petite frame? Bundy fell madly in love with a woman named Stephanie Brooks.

So how will families and loved ones reacted when being told that the man they once knew was a serial killer? In order to be a criminal you must commit some type of crime. Finally I will talk about their criminal life. Every killer has a story.

“Killings” written by Andre Dubus is focused on the main character and protagonist Matt Fowler. Matt is the father of three known children in the story, Cathleen, Steve, and his youngest, Frank. Matt had his children with his wife and business partner Ruth Fowler. In the beginning of the story Matt is laying his youngest son, Frank, to rest in the cemetery after he was brutally murdered by the story’s main antagonist, Richard Strout. At the time of his death, Frank was in school and majoring in economics (63) and had a very bright future ahead of him, after all, he was only twenty eight years old.

Aileen Wournos, one of the first female serial killers, endured many different types of abuse throughout her childhood which created her attachment disorders and psychopathy. Aileen was accused of killing seven men with a 0.22 caliber gun. She did this by hitchhiking and prostituting herself along many highways in central Florida. Aileen’s family was not ideal.

A serial killer can best be described as a person who commits a series or murders, often with no apparent motive and typically following a characteristic, predictable behavior pattern. A disturbing fact about serial killers is that most of them should be eminently identifiable. Serial killers commit their acts specifically in one place, therefore, give the residents of the community, its police force, and even their neighbors ample opportunity to find out what they are. The fact they are not caught is attributed to three factors. The first being the characteristics of the victims, which in Jeffrey Dahmer's case he prayed mostly on gay men.

Mary Maloney, who was a character written by Dahl, murdered her husband because he was going to leave/ divorce her while she was pregnant. Minnie Foster, from Glaspell’s story, also killed her husband because he strangled her only real companion, a bird. Although they committed these acts for different reasons, they were both still the ones being neglected in their marriage. A serial killer is a person who murders three or more people. There are many serial killers in the world, and they are sick people. Most of the time something horrific happens in their life to turn them into a killer. Serial killers usually get a high from killing others and get addicted to it just like anything else. Many people who kill only do it to forget the pain they feel every day.

Mary Maloney was sitting in her living room when her husband, Patrick Maloney, came home. This was the premises of the short story, “Lamb to the Slaughter,” composed by Roald Dahl. Patrick was a police officer; his wife stayed at home, which was typical for the 1950s, which was the time period of the story. The couple had been, so it seemed, happy throughout their marriage. But one day Patrick Maloney comes home and acts in an unusual way. He tells Mary Maloney he wants to leave her. Sp Mary Maloney hits Patrick Maloney on the head with a lamb and kills him.

During the story the Landlady by Roald Dahl, we meet a naive character named Billy, who is going Bath for a job and decides to spend the night at a Bed and Breakfast. We then start to realise the lady who hosts him is showing signs of being insane. She also uses a certain cleverness and trickiness to capture Billy. Finally, she is very welcoming to Billy, which ultimately ends in him trusting her and will lead to his downfall. To start off, it all begins when Billy first arrives and she starts showing minor signs of paranoia.

All the narrator’s actions, from the abuse to the murders, are some effects of his alcoholism and insanity. A sane person clearly would not carry out these heinous acts and behave the way the narrator did after committing
