2.1 Stress at Work
Stress is another name for the sacrifice a woman gives while performing the job assigned to her. She pays the price for being successful in her profession. Many women, in different organizations have to go through different mental or physical disorders caused by unhealthy work environment which is normally avoided by the managers or supervisors (Melanie Bickford 2005). A working women had always to play dual roles. She is over loaded with work in an unsatisfactory working hour that increases in her stress level (Skinner and Pocock 2008). Bartlett (2008) proposed that incivility in the workplace has and always had negative effect and impression on working women. Either that is their productivity level or to their health. Some females even resigned because of incivility at workplace. Incivility at the workplace has been increasing with the passage of time which restricts females’ family to allow them to do out door jobs. Andersson and Pearson (1999) defined workplace incivility as “The low intensity deviant with ambiguous intent to harm the target, in violation of workplace norms of mutual respect.” Basically incivility means rudeness, lack of politeness; rude behaviour, (Cortina 2008). When any woman faces a rude behaviour and is not respected to the extent she deserves, the ultimate effect is seen in more absenteeism, perturbation of mind, displeasure and discontent, high employment strain, minimal creativeness and even termination can be taken as final decision, (Cortina et al. 2011). Many researches have proved that women had been facing workplace incivility in the form of “verbal abuse” in a working surroundings, (Sakurai, 2011). A negative reaction has perpetually resulted due to workplace deviance. When the woman could not face burden and stress over her, she gives up coping with the situations and frustration, anger, anxiety and depression come to the forefront, (Lazarus and Folkman,

" Unfortunately I have come to learn that, incivility is a fairly common issue in nursing in regard to nurse-professor, nurse-nurse, nurse-physician, and nurse-resident relationships. I don't believe that it's always meant to be hurtful. Sometimes incivility occurs simply because of the fast-paced environments, long hours and high stressed environment. Regardless, it's inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. "

Violence against healthcare providers is a significant problem that has been receiving growing attention. Incidents of workplace violence are experienced by nurses and physicians on a day-to-day basis, especially in emergency departments. The corollary of this phenomenon has become a significant matter due to the psychological stress it is placing on healthcare providers, hence affecting their efficiency and productivity. We may often undermine the consequences of workplace violence, but studies show that it may cause distress, apathy, rage, disappointment, helplessness, anxiety, self-doubt, and insecurity of healthcare workers. (Öztunç 360-365)Hence, their entire job performance is decreased and absenteeism is increased.
Theoretical Framework on Violence in the Workplace Violence can be experienced by many different people in different situations in health care. In the healthcare world, nurses are one of the most exposed groups to workplace violence in the world. Circumstances that lead patients to the hospital can be very stressful which can lead to anxiety, agitation, depression. Through using the theoretical framework developed by Ida Jean Orlando, workplace violence can be viewed and applied to address or even prevent violence experienced by nurses possibly. Violence has been a long-standing issue in the workplace.
Bullying and rudeness in the work place – one particular example of organisational misbehaviour, are characteristics that should be actively prevented and addressed by an organisation. The impact of this form of misbehaviour can negatively affect the individual and the organisation as a whole, and thus this risk should be mitigated. In the following report, this form of misbehaviour, reflected by the adjoining video clip, will be analysed and the best approach to rectify bullying and rudeness in the workplace will be recommended. For instance, stress could lead to stress-induced gastrointestinal problems, irritable bowel syndrome, acidity, acid reflux, insomnia, depression, heart disease. Moreover, stress could push the victim toward high risk behaviour such as smoking, drinking, and substance abuse. Stress-related illness led to increase in absenteeism and attrition affecting the profitability of the organizations. (Kumar & Rooprai, 2009) Stress can be triggered by the pressures of everyday responsibilities at work and at home. Traumatic stress, brought on by war, disaster, or a violent attack, can keep your body’s stress levels elevated far longer than is necessary for survival.
In college, students experience a great deal of stress for the first time in their lives. In the past, they experienced little stresses that came with growing up, but now they experience stress from the real world and it can be overwhelming. The stress in college is more serious than any they had experienced prior because it is a time that will define the rest of their lives. For many, this is the first time getting a loan, the first time having to care for themselves, the first time studying for massive exams, and the first time that their decisions will affect the rest of their lives. The main types of stress college students experience are financial stress, parental stress, class stress, social stress, and self-invoked stress.

Workplace bullying is a growing issue for all the organizations to manage people. Bullying is defined as acts or verbal comments that could 'mentally ' hurt or isolate a person in the workplace. As well as, sometimes bullying can involve negative physical contact. Furthermore, bullying usually involves repeated incidents or a pattern of behavior that is intended to intimidate, offend, and humiliate a particular person or group of people. Some scholars described bullying as the assertion of power through aggression (Workplace Bullying Institute, 2015).
Theoretical Framework This study is postulated on the theories, concepts and principles regarding on Workplace Bullying and its impact on employees productivity and performance. According to Einarsen’s conceptual framework Model (see Figure 1) of the nature and cause of workplace bullying (Einarsen 2003; as cited in Einarsen, 2005), three elements can describe the causes of workplace bullying: individual, social and organizational. Hoel and Stalin (2003; as cited in Lewis, 2004) suggested that there are four antecedents to organizational causes of workplace bullying, namely: the changing nature of work, how work is organized, the organizational culture, and leadership. The changing nature of work can be attributed to globalization, mergers and the current economic recession, among others (McCarthy, 2003).
Information regarding the reports such as research limitations, level of evidence, research method and design are included in the discussion and implications of nursing. The literature review found that nurse on nurse bullying does indeed effect nurses in a physical and emotional way as well as effecting the adequacy of patient care. Stress is a ubiquitous part of everyday life. There is no way to avoid stress but you can learn to manage it. Stress can be caused through distinct ways and distinct reasons such as personal problems, social and job issues, post-traumatic stress and so on. You may have headache, feeling anxiety and depression, and easily irritated if did not handle stress well. Reduce stress in daily life is important to keep overall health since it will let you to have better frame of mind, enhance immunity and longevity so you can be more productive.
