Eric Buchman, a popular TV writer, recently wrote an article for the New York Times titled, Football Has Become Too Real to Watch. Buchman’s argument, which is not only laid out in the title but also in the last sentence of the article, is that the joy of football, something many have experienced for years, has been sucked out of fans due to the reality of current issues within the NFL.
