In the world today we depend on artificial things too much. The cartoon mean if you want to loose weight take SURE - FIRE weight loss diet pill twice a day on an empty stomach only for adult. The word sure - fire could tell you how it is dangerous for hour health. Think about the word FIRE. I disagree with what the cartoon is depicting because no medication does not take on an empty stomach unless it is prescribe by the doctor for some reasons. In my opinion the reason for my disagreement is diet pill are dangerous because FDA cannot test all products on the market if the product are safe and effective. Eating healthy is something that we does not do, we love thing which is not good for our body. If we eat the right things such as fruits,

Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.

One night, in the deep, dark forest, teeming with wild and ferocious animals, Hansel and Gretel were left alone by their father in the woods without knowing the reason. Hansel and Gretel rushed in front of the candy door and knocked to help them. They were so hungry that they could eat like a horse.
There is no tell-tale sign of who becomes a criminal and who doesn 't. Many things factor into the development of a criminal. The debate between nature vs. nurture in this aspect cannot be blamed on a single element, instead both environment and genetics play a role in criminality of an idividual. The population of American jails has a high rate of individuals with mental disorders. Although, not everyone who has a mental disorder ends up in jail the vast majority of Americans who are incarcerated are likely to have inherited a mental disorder at some point in their life. At some point in American history, genes were said to be the sole reason a person became criminal however, this is not the case today.
730 students embarked on an adventure during their summer that could quite possibly change their lives. Out of the 1,634 teenagers who were a part of the study, one-fifth of the teenagers had already been arrested and most of them were from lower income families. It was also mentioned in the article that the youth who were offered jobs had been arrested 43 percent fewer times than their peers. Sara Heller was in charge of this study called One Summer Plus taking place at the University of Pennsylvania. For these teenagers it truly was a plus to not only their summer, but for their life.
Many people attend these Friday Night football games because they see it as a tradition. I was never quite able to understand this until after I graduated high school and had been attending the games every fall Friday night for four years as a part of the marching band. Now as a recent graduate of Cambria Heights, I have come to understand the meaning of these Friday night football games like everyone else does. These games are not just a time to come and see an entertaining football game or the marching band performance (although those are perfectly great reasons to go!), but it is a time to catch up with friends, both those who we see often and those who we do not see so much anymore. These Friday night games serve as a time where people
Junior year was a bit challenging for me. It was not challenging because of the work, but I joined a career program. I had to keep up with both of my schools. For me to be successful with so many things going on, I had to stay organized and think ahead. My success was that I kept all my grades above a C+.

My Practice Currently, a substitute teacher I teach five to thirteen year old students with and without special educational needs. I take on many different roles while substitute teaching and enjoy discovering, investigating and reflecting upon these vastly different classrooms and schools. This essay will explore a mixture of learning theories used in diverse contexts which are perceived as precursors or complimentary to one another. I have come to observe that my practice reflects a multitude of learning theory relationships, particularly; behaviourism, humanism, cognitivism, choice theory and social-constructivism.
